The frosted glass bottle represents a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid cosmetic products as well as concentrated blends, where precise and comfortable application is important. In combination with a high-quality dispenser, it enables controlled dosing, thereby reducing the risk of wastage and increasing user comfort during everyday use. The dark opaque glass also helps protect the more sensitive contents from external influences and supports longer formulation stability.
This glass bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, such as screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators – depending on the parameters selected at purchase. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging works optimally with your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be safely reused provided that you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. A bottle prepared in this way is suitable for reuse with a new dose of product.
First we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent to remove residues of the previous formulation. Then rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water, allow it to dry and only then apply disinfection with alcohol – for example using a small amount of IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After the alcohol has evaporated and the bottle has completely dried, the packaging is ready for refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material type stated in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle is usually disposed of in a container designated for glass, while plastic or metal parts of the closures should be sorted according to local waste collection rules. Before recycling, it is advisable to at least roughly rinse the packaging to remove product residues and make the recycling process more efficient.
To make it easier to select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter it is possible to search by several parameters – for example by neck type, size, colour or packaging material. Thanks to this you can quickly narrow down the selection to only those bottles, vials or jars that meet the requirements of your specific formula and dosing method.
Yes, this type of packaging is very suitable for smaller test and development series where you need to verify the behaviour of the formulation over time, its compatibility with the packaging and user feedback on the dosing method. The bottle is practical for labelling test batches and allows convenient sampling for further evaluation of stability or sensory properties.
When selecting a dispenser or closure, we recommend taking into account in particular the viscosity of the product, the required amount per single pump or dose, and also the type of use (home, professional, travel packaging). In the range you will find several compatible closures and dosing systems that are combined on Handymade to be functional. Nevertheless, it is always advisable to perform your own test – verify sealing, dosing accuracy and formulation stability in contact with the packaging over the planned period of use.
