The ZENISOAPBASE soap base is used for making soaps and soap bouquets. It has a plant-based base and is free from animal fats and oils – 100% vegan. The finished soap has excellent foaming properties and, thanks to its high glycerin content, it also moisturizes the skin very well. This soap base is ideal for larger pouring volumes. It hardens faster than standard bases. It is characterized by very high transparency, which makes it ideal for soaps with embedded images.

When coloring the base with ZENICOLOR colorants, it is better to mix 70% transparent base CLEAR and 30% white base WHITE in order to avoid excessive consumption of colorants. If you pour the soap in different layers, the individual layers must be sprayed with alcohol to increase adhesion. We recommend the IPA product from our range. The base remains liquid for quite a long time, so it can be used even for more complex projects. During longer standing, there is no loss of volume in the soap castings (important especially when making bouquets). 

Melting temperature: 65 °C; when heating, do not exceed a temperature of 75 °C!

Working with the soap base is not difficult at all. Simply cut the required amount of soap base into smaller pieces; this speeds up the melting phase of the base. Slowly heat the base in a water bath or in a microwave. Be careful, the base must not boil, so heat it slowly. Into the melted base you can add a few drops of essential oil, fragrance oil, liquid or powdered colorant and, to make it more special, for example dried herbs.

Stir slowly so that unnecessary air bubbles are not formed, which would create holes after solidification. Pour the soap base into the prepared mold. Immediately after pouring, we recommend applying a few sprays with an atomizer of a bubble remover, this is 99% isopropanol. The final step is to leave it to harden. After unmolding, you can use the soap immediately, but we recommend leaving the base to stand for approx. 2 weeks for better properties.
