Product description

Multi-feel is a functional cosmetic blend based on a combination of polyglycerin-6, water, propanediol and 7 plant extracts. It is a raw material prepared as a water–glycol complex, in which the botanical components are processed into a stable, easily workable liquid form suitable for cosmetic formulations. According to the technical documentation, it originates from the chemical synthesis of natural raw materials, resulting in a clear to slightly yellow liquid designed to support the soothing of reactive skin, antioxidant protection and restoration of the skin barrier.

The complex combines extracts of Centella asiatica, Scutellaria baicalensis, Hylocereus undatus, Camellia sinensis, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Berberis vulgaris and Rosmarinus officinalis. This combination is particularly interesting for formulations intended for sensitive, irritated, reddened, stressed or insufficiently protected skin, but also for after-sun products, after-shave products, for mild hair care cosmetics or products where the goal is to improve the tolerance of the formula.

Use in formulation

Recommended dosage: 1.0 – 3.0 %.
Miscible with water, ethanol and propylene glycol.
Compatible with aqueous and emulsion systems, toners, serums, gels, creams as well as mild cleansing products.
Insoluble in mineral and vegetable oils, therefore it is not suitable for direct incorporation into purely oil-based formulations without an appropriate carrier system.
It is best incorporated into the water phase or into the final emulsion, depending on the type of formula.
It is recommended to add it during the cooling phase (at a temperature below 40 °C).

Safety and storage

Store the raw material in a well-closed original container, in a dry indoor environment and away from direct heat.
When handling, observe standard hygiene practices for working with cosmetic raw materials.
Due to the natural origin of the individual extracts, slight variations in colour or clarity may occur between batches.
Before use, it is advisable to mix the contents of the container.
Before inclusion in the final formula, we recommend performing a compatibility and stability test.

Is Multi-feel also suitable for mild shampoos and cleansing products?

Yes, this raw material is also interesting for mild wash-off formulations, especially when the goal is to improve skin comfort and support better tolerance of the formula on sensitive skin or scalp.

No, Multi-feel is not intended for purely oil-based systems. It is a water–glycol complex that is better suited for aqueous, gel or emulsion products.
