Plastic pill jar with black cap and induction liner represents a professional solution for packaging solid preparations, dietary supplements and other products where protection of the contents and precise closure are important. Thanks to its high‑quality plastic construction and sealing system, this bottle is suitable for packaging tablets, capsules or granulated blends, while helping to minimise contact with air and moisture.
The opaque dark design of the jar naturally helps protect more sensitive components from undesirable light exposure, which is particularly appreciated for products prone to degradation. The induction liner in the cap is designed to create an additional barrier after correct sealing – suitable for products where a controlled first opening or increased protection against contamination during storage and transport is important.
This product is a complete combination of jar and closure with induction liner, suitable for direct use without the need to purchase additional closing components. Packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The jar is designed as a functional packaging for tablets, capsules and other solid preparations where protection against dust, air and moisture is important. The dark design helps protect more sensitive components from light, and the induction liner, after correct sealing, increases the barrier between the contents and the environment. Long‑term stability is always influenced by the product formulation itself as well, so we recommend verifying the suitability of the chosen packaging by testing under the conditions in which the product will actually be stored.
The induction liner is intended to create an additional seal between the contents of the jar and the environment. It is typically used in combination with induction sealing technology, which activates the liner by means of an induction field and bonds it to the neck of the container. The specific procedure depends on the equipment you use in production. Before putting it into full operation, we recommend producing a trial batch, checking the integrity of the foil after sealing and verifying that the closure can be comfortably opened by the end customer without damaging the packaging.
The packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed, especially for internal use, test batches or products intended for personal use. Before each refilling, the jar must be thoroughly cleaned, the integrity of the body and thread checked, and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After the disinfectant has evaporated, we recommend visually inspecting the packaging again before filling. When reusing, always consider the nature of the product and the legal requirements for placing it on the market.
If you decide not to use the jar any further, we recommend sending it for recycling according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameter table. You can find the packaging material in the parameters section on the product page and then sort it into the appropriate container according to local waste collection rules (for example, plastic packaging into plastic collection). Before being placed in sorted waste, the packaging should be emptied and freed from residues of the original contents. By recycling you help reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of raw materials.
On the Handymade website there is an advanced filter available that significantly facilitates selection. After clicking on the relevant packaging category, you will find the filter at the top of the page. In it you can set parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material and thus quickly narrow down the selection to the packaging that best suits your specific product and filling technology. We recommend starting precisely with these basic parameters and then choosing according to detailed requirements for design and dosing method.
