Plastic pill jar with an opaque body and a practical screw cap represents a reliable packaging for solid dosage forms of preparations, such as tablets, capsules or granulated blends. Thanks to its well‑designed construction, it can provide controlled and hygienic storage of sensitive products, while minimising the access of moisture and air. The cap also includes an induction liner, which, after correct application, helps create an additional barrier between the contents and the external environment, which is particularly suitable for products prone to deterioration.
Thanks to its compact shape, this jar is ideal for manufacturers of food supplements, capsules, functional blends or laboratory samples who are looking for packaging with a professional appearance, with an emphasis on protection and practical handling. The durable plastic material is designed for regular use, transport and more frequent handling by the end customer.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility tests (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The jar is designed as practical packaging for tablets, capsules and other solid dosage forms of preparations. Thanks to the screw cap with an induction liner, it makes it possible to create an additional barrier against air and moisture, which is desirable for these products. Before final use within your own product, however, we always recommend performing internal tests of stability, storage and handling under the real conditions in which your product will be distributed and used.
The induction liner is intended to create an additional seal between the neck of the jar and the contents. It is typically activated using an induction device, which generates the heat needed to bond the foil to the neck of the packaging. The specific procedure depends on the type of your technology, so we recommend testing the heating time and machine settings on samples in order to achieve optimal sealing without damaging the packaging. If you do not use the induction liner, the jar functions as a standard screw‑cap container.
The jar can be reused if hygienic principles are observed, especially within your own production or during internal product testing. Before each refilling, however, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination or residues of the previous contents. For disinfection, we recommend using suitable alcohol‑based solutions, for example isopropyl alcohol available on the page IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or plant‑based ethanol Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After applying the disinfectant, allow the surface to dry thoroughly and only then refill the jar.
If you do not plan to reuse the jar, we recommend that, after emptying and basic cleaning, you place it into sorted waste according to the material designation in the product parameters on the Handymade website. Plastic packaging is usually placed in the collection container intended for plastics, and it is advisable to separate the cap from the body of the jar to facilitate subsequent sorting. Before disposal, check that there are no residues of hazardous or specially regulated substances on the surface or inside – these must be disposed of in accordance with their nature and the applicable legislation. By proceeding in this way, you will support proper recycling processes and reduce the amount of waste.
On the Handymade website, when selecting packaging you can use the advanced filter located in the upper part after opening a specific category (for example bottles, jars, cosmetic pots or medicine bottles). In the advanced filter you can conveniently narrow down the range according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour and packaging material. In this way, you can quickly find packaging that matches your formulation, brand design and the required dosing method, without having to browse through the entire range manually.
