Plastic pill jar is a universal packaging component suitable for the safe storage of solid dosage forms such as pills, capsules, granules or small free-flowing mixtures. Thanks to its practical shape and reliable closure, it offers easy handling, convenient dispensing and hygienic storage of the contents in both home and professional settings. The white colour of the body and lid creates a clean, technical look, making the jar ideal for the segment of food supplements, cosmetic raw materials or laboratory samples.
Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). In this way you will verify that the selected jar and lid are suitable for the specific product and that no undesirable changes or leakage of contents occur during long-term use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The jar can be used repeatedly as long as you follow basic hygiene principles and the packaging is not visibly damaged. Before each new filling, the jar and lid must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after the inner surface has completely dried is the jar ready for reuse.
Before first and repeated use, we recommend washing the jar and lid in lukewarm water with a mild cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly and allowing them to dry. It is then advisable to disinfect the internal surfaces with an alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl or ethanol. Allow the disinfectant solution to act briefly, pour off the excess and let the packaging dry naturally at room temperature.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend first emptying it and removing any product residue. Then separate the packaging into individual parts (jar body, lid, any inserts) according to the materials used, as specified in the product parameters and in the Packaging Quality Certificate. Plastic parts are sorted into the appropriate plastic container, or according to the applicable local waste-sorting rules. Always follow the material markings on the packaging and the manufacturer’s recommendations given in the product parameter table.
The jar is optimal especially for packaging solid forms such as pills, capsules, small granules or powder blends, where protection against contamination and practical dosing are important. It is suitable for manufacturers of food supplements, cosmetic brands, artisanal producers and laboratories that need clear and hygienic packaging for smaller product series or trial batches.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the selected category (for example bottles, jars or medicine bottles), you will find the filter in the upper part of the page. There you can conveniently choose the required parameters – type and size of neck, overall size of the packaging, colour and material. This enables you to quickly filter out the packaging that best matches your product, the technological filling options and the visual style of your brand.
