Product description

Plastic pill jar represents a reliable container designed primarily for packing solid dosage forms such as tablets, capsules or granules. The robust construction and precisely fitting lid help keep the contents protected from external influences and unwanted moisture, which is important for long-term storage of sensitive products. Thanks to its practical shape, the jar is also suitable for smaller amounts of cosmetic or pharmaceutical preparations in powder form that need to be kept hygienically closed and easy to dose.

Possible uses

  • packaging of food supplements in the form of tablets and capsules
  • storage of loose cosmetic blends (powder masks, bath salts, powder cleansing blends)
  • practical storage of small quantities of raw materials for cosmetics production in both home and professional environments
  • organization of smaller doses of products in the laboratory, production or workshop (test series, samples)
  • clear and hygienic packaging of products intended for further processing or sale

Packaging advantages

  • Material stability – the rigid plastic material helps protect tablets and powder blends from mechanical damage during transport and storage.
  • Protection of contents – the sealing lid minimizes undesirable contact with the surrounding environment, thereby helping to preserve the properties of the product throughout its period of use.
  • Hygienic closure – the smooth inner surface enables easy cleaning and reduces the risk of retention of product residues.
  • Universal use – a suitable choice for manufacturers of cosmetics, food supplements as well as smaller craft and “handmade” workshops that need a practical and professional-looking jar.
  • Low weight – the plastic container does not burden the final product, which is advantageous for shipping and carrying.

Combining with closures and dispensers

Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation). In this way, you can be sure that your filling is safely stored in the jar and that the packaging functions reliably throughout the entire period of use.

Technical parameters

All technical parameters of the container are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this plastic jar suitable for repeated use?

The jar can be used repeatedly provided you follow basic hygiene principles and the use is in line with the nature of your products. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable changes to the product.

How should I correctly clean and prepare the jar before filling it with tablets or capsules?

Before filling, we recommend first cleaning the jar mechanically (removing dust and residues), then rinsing it with a suitable cleaning agent and, after drying, disinfecting it using alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After the alcohol has evaporated and the internal space has completely dried, you can safely fill the jar. When handling, it is advisable to use clean gloves and work in the cleanest environment possible.

How should I store the jar correctly so that the tablets inside are as well protected as possible?

The filled jar is best kept in a dry, clean and stable environment without direct sunlight and without major temperature fluctuations. The lid should always be firmly closed in order to minimize the access of ambient humidity and dust. When storing multiple jars, we recommend keeping them in an upright position in closed boxes or on shelves where there is no risk of mechanical damage to the packaging or its accidental opening.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this plastic jar if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the jar repeatedly, we recommend first emptying it completely and removing any remaining contents according to the nature of the product (for example in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions or local regulations). Then hand the container over to the appropriate sorted collection according to the material indicated in the parameter table for the product on the website. Correct sorting enables recycling of the material and a reduction in the amount of waste. In case of doubt, follow the local guidelines for waste sorting in your municipality or city.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

To make selection easier, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the advanced filter you can quickly select according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material, which means you will only see those bottles, jars or pots that match your requirements. In this way, you can easily compare several alternatives and choose the most suitable packaging for your specific product.
