Plastic bottle made from high-quality material represents a practical and lightweight packaging for various liquid and gel formulations. It is suitable for manufacturers of homemade and professional cosmetics, artisan products and trial samples, where cleanliness, secure closure and easy handling are important. Thanks to its compact design, this bottle is convenient to use in the laboratory, workshop and while travelling, and it allows clear dosing of smaller amounts of product.
The smooth surface of the packaging provides a professional appearance and sufficient area for labels, safety pictograms and branding. The packaging material is designed to be suitable for common cosmetic formulations and, when used correctly, to help protect the contents against external influences, impurities and unwanted leakage of the product. The bottle is ideal for creating test batches, travel-size packs and finished products intended for the end customer.
Individual bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected directly on the product page. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the final product will be stable and safe in use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused if used and stored appropriately, always with strict hygiene rules observed. Before each refilling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 %) or plant-based ethanol (Ethanol 96 % denatured). Disinfection helps minimise the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the stability of your cosmetic formulation.
Before reuse, always mechanically remove residues of the original product from the packaging, then wash it with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface and all parts that come into contact with the new product with alcohol – for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % plant-based ethanol. After the alcohol has evaporated, the bottle is ready for refilling. Always pay attention to the cleanliness of the working environment and tools.
Plastic packaging in general is not intended to be exposed to extremely high temperatures. When in contact with boiling water, during boiling or when washed in hot dishwasher programmes, the packaging may become deformed, change shape or the material may weaken. Therefore, instead of thermal sterilisation, we recommend a gentler procedure for cleaning and hygiene: thorough washing with lukewarm water and a cleaning agent, rinsing and subsequent disinfection with alcohol (ALK001 / ALK002) according to the Handymade.sk offer.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material stated in the parameter table on the product page. Before putting it into sorted waste collection, remove any product residues and labels if present, and place the packaging in the appropriate container designated for that type of plastic according to local waste-sorting rules. In this way, you support the reuse of the material and reduce the amount of waste from single-use packaging.

Thanks to the filter, you can quickly narrow down the range according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material used. By combining these criteria, you choose packaging that best suits the specific formulation, dosing method and visual style of your brand.
Always adapt the choice of closure to the consistency and method of use of your product. For liquid toners and waters, spray heads or classic screw caps with a smaller opening are particularly suitable. Thicker serums and oils may require a dropper or an applicator that allows precise dosing of small amounts. For every planned combination, we recommend performing a sealing and dosing test to be sure that the closure and packaging work reliably together and meet user expectations.
