Transparent plastic bucket with lid is a universal container suitable for packaging and storing loose, creamy and semi-liquid products where content visibility and reliable closure are important. The transparent material allows for easy visual inspection of the contents, while the sturdy lid helps protect the product from contamination and reduces the risk of accidental leakage or spillage. This type of packaging is popular for the production of artisan cosmetics, candles, creative blends, as well as for home and craft projects where a combination of practicality and aesthetic appearance is important.
This product represents a complete combination of container and lid, ready for direct use without the need to purchase additional closures or dispensers. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the plastic bucket with lid is suitable for creamy, gel and loose cosmetic products, such as body scrubs, bath salts or powder masks. The transparent material makes it easier to identify the contents and the lid helps protect the product from contamination and unwanted moisture. Before final implementation in your production, we recommend verifying the compatibility of the packaging with the specific formulation using a test batch.
The packaging can be reused for the same or a similar type of product, provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bucket and lid must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use products available on Handymade, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/) or denatured plant ethanol (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/), always following the manufacturer’s recommendations and safety instructions. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely to avoid dilution or changes in the stability of the final product.
We recommend storing the plastic bucket in a dry, clean and well-ventilated area, without direct sunlight and at normal room temperature. Avoid long-term exposure to heat sources or extreme cold in order to prevent unnecessary stress on the material. Empty buckets should preferably be kept closed or covered to minimize dust settling inside the container, which will simplify subsequent preparation for filling.
Before the first filling and also for repeated use, it is advisable to mechanically clean the packaging from any impurities and dust, then rinse it or wipe it with a suitable cleaning agent and finally disinfect it. For disinfection we recommend using alcohol solutions, such as isopropyl alcohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/) or denatured plant ethanol (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/), which are offered by Handymade. After applying the disinfectant, allow the container and lid to dry at room temperature so that the internal surface remains clean, dry and ready for safe filling.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend, after emptying it and removing product residues, to place it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic material specified in the product parameters. Please check the recycling symbol and the recommended container type in your area (for example, a plastics container). Before handing it over to sorted waste, it is advisable to at least roughly rinse or mechanically clean the bucket in order to minimize the amount of remaining contents. By following local recycling rules, you support reprocessing of the material and reduction of municipal waste volume.
The simplest way to choose a suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories on Handymade. After clicking on the selected category, a panel with advanced filtering appears at the top of the page, where you can select in detail the parameters you need – type and size of the neck, overall size of the packaging, colour and material. By combining these filters, you will quickly narrow the range down to the packaging that is most suitable for your specific product, whether it is cosmetics, creative projects or other types of contents.
