The plastic pill jar with black cap is a practical packaging suitable for packing loose blends, capsules, tablets and small granulated products. The robust construction and precisely fitting closure help protect the contents from contamination, moisture and unwanted handling. Thanks to its compact shape, the jar is easy to store and transport, and it is convenient to work with during both manual and semi-automatic filling.
Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that your particular product will be stable and safely sealed in the chosen jar.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The jar can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially for home production of your own supplements or capsules. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and ensure better stability of the stored tablets and capsules.
When filling, pay attention to the cleanliness of the work environment, dry hands and the use of suitable tools (measuring scoops, funnels, filling devices) in order to minimise contamination of the contents. Do not overfill the jar so that the cap can be fully closed without difficulty and so that the tablets or capsules are not mechanically damaged during closing. After filling, check that the closure is firmly tightened and that there are no product residues between the cap and the neck.
Store the jar in a dry, clean and well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Stable room conditions support the shelf life of the contents and at the same time protect the plastic from unnecessary thermal and light stress. Always close the container carefully to limit the effects of moisture and dust, which can adversely affect the consistency and integrity of the tablets or capsules.
If you decide not to use the jar any longer, we recommend emptying it and removing any remaining contents before discarding. Then dispose of the packaging according to the recommendations stated in the product parameter table on the Handymade website, where the type of plastic and the relevant recycling symbol are specified. Thanks to this, you can place it in the correct separated waste stream and support efficient material recycling.
To make selection easier, use the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the advanced filter you can sort the packaging by several parameters – especially by neck type, size, colour and material. In this way you will quickly find bottles, jars, pots or other containers that will best suit your specific product and the method of dosing.
