Plastic pill jar with white screw cap and induction liner represents a practical packaging material for manufacturers of food supplements, medicines, cosmetics and homemade formulations. Closing with an induction liner helps reduce the risk of contamination, aroma loss and product degradation, which is important when packaging solid forms, granules, capsules and powder blends. The jar is designed to provide stable conditions for the contents and to enable professional packaging of small and medium‑sized batches.
Combinations of packs and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before using the packaging, we recommend familiarising yourself with the technical documentation, which contains details on the material, suitable modes of use, recommended storage conditions and recycling options. This information will help you correctly integrate the jar into your manufacturing process and set appropriate filling, labelling and storage conditions.
The jar can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, especially for your own production of supplements or cosmetics. However, before each new filling it is necessary to clean and disinfect the packaging thoroughly in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of appropriate quality, for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant‑based, and refilling the jar only after the alcohol has completely evaporated.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, it is advisable first to empty it completely and remove any product residues. The method of recycling and assignment to a specific separate collection stream depends on the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters for this packaging. According to the material marking, sort the jar into the appropriate plastic container in accordance with local waste management rules. The cap and the body of the packaging may be made of different materials, so if they bear different markings it is recommended to separate the individual parts before disposal.
The induction liner is intended to create a sealing barrier between the contents of the jar and the surroundings. After filling the packaging, the cap is screwed on tightly and an induction sealing machine is then used, which heats the layer inside the liner using an electromagnetic field. The liner then bonds to the neck of the jar and forms a tight closure. The specific settings for time and power depend on the technology used and the type of filling line, so it is always necessary to follow the device instructions and carry out trial tests.
The jar is optimised primarily for packaging solid and powder products such as pills, capsules, granules, powder blends or dried extracts. Closure with an induction liner helps maintain lower humidity inside the packaging, which is important for products sensitive to water and oxidation. For liquid or semi‑liquid forms, specific bottles with droppers, pumps or sprayers are more suitable; these can be found in the relevant packaging material categories on Handymade.
You can greatly simplify the selection of suitable packaging using the advanced filter available at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. Thanks to the filter you can quickly narrow down the offer according to several parameters – especially neck type, size, colour and material. We recommend first determining the required volume and material, then choosing a suitable neck for the planned closure system and finally fine‑tuning design aspects such as shape and colour scheme so that the packaging matches the character of your product and the visual identity of your brand.
