Plastic pill jar represents a practical and hygienic packaging, ideal for clear and orderly storage of smaller solid products such as tablets, capsules or granules. The reclosable pill bottle is designed to provide reliable protection of the contents against dust, moisture and unwanted opening, making it suitable for pharmaceutical, cosmetic as well as complementary product ranges. Thanks to the high‑quality plastic material, the jar is stable, lightweight and comfortable to handle during both manual and semi‑automatic filling.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
The jar can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% ethanol, denatured, plant‑based. Only after the inner surfaces are completely dry is the jar ready for safe reuse.
Before refilling, we recommend first mechanically removing any residues of the original contents, then rinsing the interior and the cap with a suitable soapy or mild cleaning solution and with clean water. After washing, it is necessary to disinfect the packaging with an alcohol‑based preparation (e.g. isopropyl alcohol or plant‑based ethanol) and allow it to dry completely at room temperature. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination of the new contents.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, placing it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters. According to the marking on the packaging, place it in the appropriate fraction of sorted waste (usually the yellow container for plastics or a specific plastic fraction according to local rules). In this way you support its recycling and reduce environmental burden.
The shape and construction of the jar are primarily intended for packaging solid products such as tablets, capsules and granules. The packaging provides good protection against dust and moisture, but for liquid or very finely free‑flowing powder products it is always important to test the tightness and suitability of the closure for the specific use. We recommend carrying out a trial filling and short‑term observation of the behaviour of the packaging with the given contents.
The jar is suitable for most common tablets and capsules; however, for products with an atypical or sensitive composition (for example, highly hygroscopic substances, strongly aromatic components or specific active ingredients), we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test. Monitor the stability of the product, any changes to the tablet surface and the interaction with the inner surface of the packaging over several days to weeks of storage.
To make selection easier, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can quickly narrow down the offer according to neck type, required size, colour and packaging material. In this way you will find bottles, jars and pill containers that best match your formulation, brand design and the intended dosing method.
