The plastic pill jar with a transparent body and black cap is a practical packaging component that enables clear, well-organised storage and dosing of various loose and solid products. Thanks to its high-quality closure and integrated induction liner, it helps protect the contents against moisture, air and external contamination, which is especially important for food supplements, capsules or cosmetic preparations in powder form. The transparent container also allows quick visual control of the contents and their quantity, which is appreciated by manufacturers of both small and large production runs.
This jar is supplied together with a compatible cap and induction liner as a ready-made combination of container and closure. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The jar is designed so that, in combination with the cap and induction liner, it provides reliable closure and limits access of air and moisture, which is essential for tablets and capsules. For long-term storage we recommend following the recommended conditions for the specific product (dry, stable temperature, protection from direct sunlight) and always carrying out your own stability tests under the real conditions of your production.
The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the jar and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Allow the disinfectant to evaporate completely and only then refill the packaging, so that the stability or fragrance of the filled product is not affected.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material designation given in the product parameters. Before placing it into sorted waste, empty the jar, remove product residues and, where possible, separate the individual parts (jar body, cap, possibly the liner). Place each part into the container intended for that type of plastic according to local waste-sorting rules. In this way you support reprocessing of the material and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
Before filling, we recommend storing the jars in a clean, dry and dust-free environment, protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations. After filling, keep the finished products in line with the requirements of the specific formulation – most often at room temperature, away from sources of heat and moisture. Do not overfill the jars, ensure correct and even tightening of the caps and, during handling, avoid strong mechanical stress or dropping.
When selecting suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the advanced filter you can conveniently choose parameters such as neck finish, size, colour and material, as well as other properties according to the type of product you plan to pack. This allows you to quickly narrow down the offer to the packs that are most suitable for your use and gives you a better overview of the available combinations of packaging and closures.
