The plastic bottle represents a practical and versatile solution for packaging various liquid and semi-liquid preparations in both professional and home production. Thanks to the reliable plastic packaging, it is suitable for precise dispensing, safe storage and convenient handling of the contents in everyday use. The smooth surface of the bottle allows for easy labelling and clean, aesthetic product marking.
The durable material of the bottle provides good protection of the contents during transport as well as during storage in the bathroom, salon premises or warehouses. The packaging is designed to fit comfortably in the hand, to facilitate product application and at the same time to meet the requirements of small and medium-sized manufacturers of cosmetics, detergents and technical solutions. Thanks to the standardised neck, you can easily combine it with several types of closures and dispensing systems according to the nature of the filling.
The standalone bottle is designed to be compatible with different types of closures and dispensing systems, such as screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators – according to the selected parameters in the offer. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example with isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable changes in the prepared product.
When filling the bottle, we recommend working in the cleanest environment possible, using clean tools and observing the recommended temperature of the filling in order to avoid unnecessary stress on the plastic material. It is also advisable not to overfill the bottle to the brim, so that the contents have sufficient headspace during handling and any volume changes (for example due to temperature).
Before reuse, we recommend first rinsing the bottle thoroughly with a suitable cleaning agent or with warm water and detergent, then rinsing with clean water and leaving it to dry. After drying, it is necessary to disinfect the inner surface, ideally using IPA 99 % or 96 % plant-based ethanol. Allow the disinfectant to act for a short time and then let the bottle fully air out and dry completely before the next filling.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend first emptying it and removing any residues of the original contents. Then sort the packaging according to the type of plastic indicated in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website (material designation and corresponding sorting symbol). By following these recycling rules, you contribute to the efficient processing of plastic waste and to reducing the environmental burden.
