The plastic bottle with matte black cap is a practical packaging material for manufacturers of cosmetics, artisanal products, as well as home-made formulations. Thanks to the appropriately selected plastic material, the bottle is stable, lightweight, and protects the contents well during normal use and transport. The smooth surface allows for easy labelling, marking, and customisation of the packaging according to the brand or intended use.
Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene rules are followed. However, before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol (for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol). For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured vegetable-based. Disinfection helps minimise the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the shelf life of your products.
First remove residues of the original product by rinsing with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and a mild detergent that is compatible with the material used. Then rinse the packaging thoroughly with clean water and allow it to dry completely. For final disinfection, we recommend using an alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or vegetable ethanol, which is left to evaporate after application. Only after it is completely dry is the bottle ready for refilling.
Plastic packaging of this type is not intended for long-term exposure to high temperatures. With excessive heating, deformation of the packaging, deterioration of the seal, or changes in the properties of the material may occur. Therefore, we do not recommend washing the bottle in a dishwasher, boiling it, or sterilising it at very high temperatures. For cleaning, choose gentle hand washing and disinfection with alcohol, which evaporates after application without the need for thermal stress.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, placing it in sorted waste according to the recycling mark of the material stated in the product parameters. Check the symbol on the packaging or the information in the parameter table on the product page and, according to it, choose the appropriate container (for example plastic). In the case of a combination of several materials (for example bottle and cap made of different plastics), it is ideal to separate them before disposal. In this way, you support more efficient recycling and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
To select the ideal packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, jars, pill bottles), you will find the advanced filter at the top of the page. In it, you can conveniently filter by neck type, required size, colour, and material. This allows you to easily narrow down the selection to packs that suit your formulation, brand design, and dosing method. For specific requirements, we recommend combining several filters at once and then testing the selected packs in smaller quantities.
The suitability of the packaging for a specific type of formulation always depends on the chemical compatibility between the material of the bottle and the composition of the product. For concentrated extracts, a high alcohol content, or the use of strong essential oils, we recommend performing your own test: fill a small amount of product, monitor the behaviour of the packaging during storage, and check the sealing of the cap and any changes in the colour and elasticity of the plastic. In case of doubt, it is advisable to compare the composition of the product with the information in the Packaging Quality Certificate (Atest) and with the technical parameters given with the product.
