Before handing it over to sorted waste, it is appropriate to empty the packaging, remove any remaining contents and separate different materials (for example the bottle and the cap, if they are made of different plastics). Then place the packaging in the appropriate container for sorted collection according to local rules so that the material can be efficiently recovered in the recycling process.

Yes, the smaller plastic bottle with flip-top cap is practical also for preparing trial batches and product samples. It allows you to test the behaviour of the formulation in contact with the packaging, the stability of colour and fragrance, as well as convenience during dispensing. When testing new formulations, we always recommend first filling a smaller amount of product and monitoring compatibility with the packaging over several days to weeks in order to verify sealing, consistency and the overall user experience.
