Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene rules are observed and as long as it does not show signs of damage or material fatigue. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol‑based product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant‑based. After thorough drying, you can fill the bottle again, and we recommend keeping a record of the number of reuse cycles.

How should the packaging be properly cleaned and disinfected before the next filling?

After emptying the packaging, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a mild detergent to remove residues of the previous product. Then rinse the interior and the cap with clean water and let them drain. For disinfection, use an alcohol‑based product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 %, which you use to rinse the inside of the container and treat the neck threads and the cap. After the alcohol has evaporated and the packaging is completely dry, it is ready for refilling.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material specified in the product parameters. First empty the bottle as much as possible and, if possible, quickly rinse it so that no significant product residues remain. Then separate the packaging according to material type (bottle body, cap, any inserts) and sort them into the appropriate containers in line with local waste regulations. Is the plastic material of this bottle suitable for exposure to higher temperatures or for boiling?

Plastic packaging in general is not intended for long‑term exposure to high temperatures, for boiling or for washing in a dishwasher. When exposed to hot water, steam or high temperatures, the walls may deform, the cap seal may deteriorate and the service life of the packaging may be shortened. For cleaning, therefore use only moderately warm water and the recommended alcohol‑based disinfectants, and avoid thermal sterilisation, which could damage the packaging.
