FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is it possible to use this plastic bottle repeatedly?

The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the stability of the filled product.

How should the bottle be properly cleaned and disinfected before refilling?

Before reuse, we recommend first mechanically cleaning the packaging – rinsing it with warm water and a mild cleansing agent, rinsing thoroughly and allowing it to dry. Then rinse or spray the inner walls and the closure with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allow it to evaporate. Adjust the procedure to the type of original contents so that no residues of the previous product remain in the packaging.

How can this packaging be safely disposed of and recycled if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the recommendations stated in the product parameters. Before handing it over for separate collection, it is advisable to empty the packaging and remove any product residues. Then place the packaging in the appropriate container according to the type of material stated for the product in the parameter table. This supports responsible handling of packaging and reduces the amount of waste.

Is this packaging suitable for thicker products such as gels or emulsions?

The bottle with disc-top closure is suitable for liquid and slightly viscous products where the contents can be comfortably squeezed or poured through the closure opening. For thick gels or very dense emulsions, we recommend performing a dosing test to verify whether the product flows through the opening smoothly and without excessive pressure. If the formulation is too thick, packaging with a pump or another type of dispensing system may be more suitable.
