Product description

The plastic bottle with white cap is a practical, lightweight container suitable for packaging various liquid cosmetic preparations and auxiliary solutions. Thanks to its reliable closure, it helps protect the contents from contamination, leakage and excessive evaporation, which is important for frequent transport or storage. The smooth surface of the bottle makes labelling, applying stickers and cleaning easier, so it is suitable both for home use and for small artisan brands. The container is made of plastic, which is light, mechanically resistant and, when used correctly, provides good protection for the liquid product throughout its entire period of use.

Possible uses

  • liquid cosmetic products – body and facial toners, mild cleansing solutions, facial lotions, hair lotions and other preparations intended for everyday use
  • auxiliary solutions for cosmetics – cleaning solutions for tools, distilled water for cosmetic manufacturing, aqueous or hydroalcoholic solutions intended for further processing
  • homemade blends for personal care – for example hydrolats, refreshing sprays for body or hair (in combination with a suitable sprayer), facial mists or toning solutions
  • concentrated working solutions – measured amounts of bases, concentrates or intermediates in cosmetic production that you need to keep stored separately and clearly organized
  • laboratory and craft use – the bottle as a technical container for pilot batches, test samples and smaller lots of products during formulation development

Packaging advantages

  • Material stability – the plastic used for this container is designed to provide long‑term shape stability and mechanical resistance to impacts and normal handling under standard storage and use conditions.
  • Content protection – the sealing closure helps to minimise the product’s contact with air and environmental impurities, thus contributing to preserving its properties and user comfort.
  • Low weight and safe handling – compared with glass, the plastic bottle is lightweight, less prone to breakage and suitable for carrying in a bag or luggage.
  • Easy marking and branding – the smooth surface of the container is suitable for labels, stickers and printing, allowing it to be easily adapted to your brand’s visual identity.
  • Universal use – the bottle is particularly suitable for cosmetic and technical solutions; however, the specific suitability for a given formulation depends on its composition and must always be tested.

Combining with caps and dispensers

  • Bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems, such as screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators – depending on the parameters selected for the specific product.
  • Combinations of containers and caps that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional in terms of basic fit and sealing.
  • For each combination, however, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – to verify sealing, dosing comfort and the behaviour of the container in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, pH, presence of essential oils, etc.).
  • Before launching for sale or long‑term use, it is advisable to produce a trial batch, fill the bottle, store it and use it under real conditions in order to verify long‑term stability and user comfort.

Technical parameters

  • All technical parameters of the container are specified in the enclosed packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
  • In the parameter table you will also find information on the plastic type and the related recommendations for recycling and for handling the container at the end of its service life.
  • When working with plastic bottles, we recommend also observing the recommended storage conditions (temperature, exposure to sunlight, type of filled substance) to maintain their dimensional and functional stability throughout the entire period of use.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

To make selecting packaging easier, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category (for example bottles, jars or pumps). In the advanced filter, you can clearly filter packaging by several parameters – in particular by neck type, size, colour variant and material. This allows you to quickly narrow down the selection to containers that best suit your product and your usage requirements.

Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

The bottle can be used repeatedly provided that you follow basic hygiene principles and take into account material wear during long‑term use. Before each refilling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. In our range you will find, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant‑based, which are suitable for technical disinfection of containers before filling. When reusing, regularly check the condition of the thread, the seal and the container surface and replace the container if it is damaged or visibly worn.

How should I properly clean the bottle before refilling it?

Before refilling, we recommend first rinsing the bottle mechanically with warm water and a mild cleaning agent to remove residues of the original product. Then it is advisable to rinse the container thoroughly with clean water, allow it to dry and only then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol solution, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant‑based. Spread the disinfectant solution over the inner surface of the bottle and allow it to evaporate. During cleaning and disinfection, do not use aggressive chemicals or very abrasive tools to avoid damaging the surface or the thread.

Is the plastic bottle suitable for hot or sterile fillings?

Plastic containers of this type are not intended for filling with very hot or boil‑sterilised contents. Exposure to high temperatures may lead to weakening or deformation of the walls, deterioration of sealing and shortening of the container’s service life. Therefore, we do not recommend boiling the bottle, using it in a dishwasher or exposing it to prolonged heat (for example in an oven or in direct contact with hot liquid). For disinfection, prefer the use of alcohol solutions at room temperature and always follow the recommendations given in the product parameters.

How can I dispose of or recycle the bottle in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the container any longer, we recommend first thoroughly emptying it and removing any product residues. The recycling method depends on the type of plastic specified in the product parameters – according to this, place the container in the appropriate separate waste stream (for example among plastics marked with the corresponding recycling symbol). Before placing it in the container, it is advisable to remove any label residues, if this is recommended by local sorting rules. If possible, also follow the recommendations of your local recycling centre or waste management system so that the container is processed in the most environmentally friendly way. Repeated use and subsequent recycling are the best ways to reduce the environmental footprint of the packaging.

What should I pay attention to when choosing a compatible cap or dispenser for this bottle?

When selecting a cap or dispenser, it is important to consider the type and size of the bottle neck, which you can find in the product parameters. The cap or pump must have a matching thread to ensure reliable sealing. We also recommend choosing the dispensing type according to the consistency and nature of the filling – for example a fine sprayer for watery solutions, a dropper for precise dosing of small volumes or a classic screw cap if the product is intended for pouring. All combinations of containers and caps offered in the e‑shop are tested for basic functionality, but when working with a specific formula, it is advisable to perform your own tests of filling, storage and use.
