Is it possible to use this bottle repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is essential to clean and disinfect the bottle and dispenser thoroughly, so that the new product is not contaminated. For disinfection we recommend, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol suitable for technical disinfection, available in our range: IPA 99 % izopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, let all parts of the packaging dry completely and only then refill the container.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can conveniently narrow down the range according to several parameters – specifically by type of neck, size, colour and packaging material. Thanks to this, you will quickly find a bottle, jar or vial that matches both the technical requirements and the visual style of your product.

How should I correctly test the compatibility of my formulation with this packaging?

Before introducing the packaging into regular production, we recommend performing your own compatibility test. Fill one test bottle with the product, close it carefully and monitor the behaviour of the packaging and contents over several weeks. Focus on the sealing of the closure, the smoothness of dispensing, any change in viscosity or colour of the product, and any changes to the surface or shape of the bottle. Store the packaging under the conditions in which it will actually be used (for example, bathroom, work table in a salon), so that the test is as close as possible to real use.

How should I clean the bottle so that the dispenser is not damaged?

First empty the bottle and pump as thoroughly as possible and rinse them with lukewarm water, possibly with a mild cleaning agent suitable for hand washing. We then recommend disinfecting the packaging with a suitable alcohol solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % izopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. It is advisable to draw clean disinfectant into the dispenser several times and “pump it through” so that the internal channels are rinsed. After cleaning, let all parts dry thoroughly at room temperature and only then reassemble and fill the packaging.

How should I correctly dispose of and recycle this packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the bottle with dispenser any longer, we recommend recycling it where possible. First, empty the packaging as much as possible and remove any product residues so as not to contaminate sorted waste. The method of sorting and assignment to a particular type of waste is determined by the material specified in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website. According to this designation, place the bottle and, where applicable, the pump in the appropriate container for sorted waste. If the individual parts are made of different materials, it is advisable to dismantle them before disposal and sort them separately according to local recycling rules.
