Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

The bottle can be used repeatedly, provided that basic hygiene principles are observed and that your formulation is suitably compatible with the plastic used. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After drying, check whether the surface has been damaged, and only then refill the bottle.

How should I clean this plastic bottle so as not to damage the material?

For cleaning, use lukewarm water and a mild, well-soluble cleaning agent that does not leave residues and does not contain aggressive solvents. Do not expose the packaging to high temperatures, do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher, as there is a risk of deformation and weakening of the material. After washing, rinse the bottle thoroughly, allow it to dry naturally and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation before further use.

How should I recycle the bottle correctly if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the type of plastic indicated in the parameter table for the product. Before placing it in sorted waste, empty the packaging, rinse out any product residues and, if necessary, separate the individual parts (for example the bottle and the cap) if the guidelines for your collection require sorting by plastic type. Then place the bottle in the appropriate container for sorted waste in accordance with local recycling rules.

Is this plastic packaging suitable for any type of cosmetic product?

The bottle is intended mainly for liquid and mildly viscous cosmetic preparations such as facial waters, toners, body milks with lower viscosity or oil blends. For formulations containing aggressive solvents, a high proportion of essential oils or a distinctly acidic or alkaline pH, it is always necessary to carry out your own compatibility test. Fill a small amount of product, monitor changes in colour, structure and strength of the packaging and only after confirming long-term stability use the bottle for the final product.

Can I store this bottle in the sun or near sources of heat?

It is not advisable to expose the plastic material of the bottle to high temperatures or direct sunlight for long periods. When overheated, the packaging may gradually deform, its mechanical resistance may decrease and the stability of the stored product may also be affected. It is recommended to store both full and empty bottles in a dry, shaded place at normal room temperature, away from sources of heat and open flame.
