Product description

Plastic bottle with closure represents a practical packaging material for various liquid and free-flowing formulations, ideal for small manufacturers, artisans as well as for home blending of products. Thanks to its well-thought-out shape and reliable closing, the bottle is suitable for safe packaging of cosmetics, cleaning concentrates and other preparations where protection of the contents during storage and transport is important. The dark plastic design also helps to reduce light penetration to the contents, which you will appreciate especially with more sensitive formulations containing active substances or fragrances. An advantage is also the low weight and resistance to breakage, making this packaging a practical alternative to glass.

For all combinations, however, we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – check sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, content of alcohols, surface-active substances, etc.).

Technical parameters

All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
According to the type of material indicated in the parameters, follow the recommended method of recycling – at the end of its life, place the packaging in the appropriate separate waste stream according to the recycling symbol and local collection rules.
If the packaging is made of PET material, it is not suitable to expose it to high temperatures – in contact with hot water or thermal radiation, deformation of the packaging may occur. Such packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling, in order to preserve its shape and functionality.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is it possible to use this plastic bottle repeatedly?

The packaging can be used repeatedly with appropriate handling and in the absence of visible damage, always in compliance with basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable preparation, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol from the Handymade range (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol, Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). Only after it has completely dried and aired is the packaging ready for further safe use.

How should the packaging be properly cleaned and disinfected before refilling?

First, we recommend rinsing the bottle with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent to remove residues of the original contents. It is then advisable to rinse the packaging with clean water and let it drain. For disinfection, use an alcohol solution – for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, with which you thoroughly rinse or spray the interior and neck of the container. After disinfection, let the bottle dry completely at room temperature away from direct heat, and only then refill it.

What are the recommendations for safe use of plastic packaging made from PET material?

If the product parameters indicate that it is PET material, the packaging should not be exposed to high temperatures or direct radiant heat (radiators, hot surfaces, direct sun behind glass). When the recommended temperatures are exceeded, deformation of the bottle, deterioration of sealing and limitation of the functionality of the closure may occur. For this reason, PET packaging is not recommended for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning, choose lukewarm water and hand-washing without excessive mechanical stress.

How can I dispose of or recycle this bottle in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, its recycling is recommended according to the material indicated in the product parameters. Follow the recycling symbol and local rules for separate collection – typically this means placing it in the container intended for plastic packaging. Before placing it in separate waste, it is advisable to empty the bottle and, if necessary, rinse it from product residues. Packaging prepared in this way facilitates subsequent processing in the recycling process and contributes to reducing the amount of municipal waste.
