The plastic bottle with closure represents a practical and reliable packaging for various liquid and gel products, suitable for home formulations as well as for small-scale artisan production. Thanks to its high-quality workmanship, it provides stable and convenient packaging in which the contents are easy to fill, store and use. The volume and shape of the bottle are adapted for efficient dosing, while the solid closure helps protect the fill from dirt and undesirable contamination.
The packaging made from PET-type plastic material is lightweight, resistant to normal mechanical stress and suitable for packaging various liquids with appropriate viscosity. The smooth surface allows for easy labelling and professional presentation of the finished product. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures – in case of excessive heating there is a risk of deformation of the packaging, therefore it is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling.
This packaging is supplied directly with a closure, so it forms a functional set suitable for immediate use after filling. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, pH, any content of solvents or essential oils).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Detailed information about the material, recommendations for use and any limitations can be found in the technical documentation and in the parameter table directly at the product. When planning to use the packaging with chemically more demanding formulations, always check compatibility with the specific type of fill.
Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?
The bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable disinfectant, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry well at room temperature and only then refill it.
How should a PET bottle be handled correctly in terms of temperature and cleaning?
PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures. When in contact with hot water or during prolonged overheating, the packaging may deform and its mechanical properties may deteriorate. Therefore, do not wash the bottle in a dishwasher, do not boil it and do not expose it to a direct heat source (radiator, oven, strong sunlight behind a window). For cleaning, use lukewarm water with a mild detergent, then rinse the packaging and disinfect it with a suitable alcohol solution.
How can this packaging be safely disposed of and recycled if I no longer want to use it?
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend that after emptying and basic rinsing you place it in sorted waste according to the recycling label of the material stated in the product parameters. For plastic packaging, it is usually placed in the container intended for plastic waste. Before disposal, it is advisable to remove any product residues; you can recycle the closure together with the bottle unless local recycling rules state otherwise. Follow local recommendations for waste sorting so that the material can be recycled effectively.
For which types of products is this bottle most suitable in terms of viscosity and use?
The bottle is particularly suitable for liquid and medium-viscosity preparations, such as toners, micellar waters, shampoos, shower gels, light emulsions or oil blends. It is also suitable for low-viscosity cleansing and hygiene preparations. For very thick creams or pastes, handling may be less convenient; in such cases, a jar or pot is often more practical. Before final deployment, we recommend making a trial filling and testing whether the dosing is suitable for the specific formulation.
You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?
The easiest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material category. After clicking on a specific category (for example bottles, jars or pots), you will find the advanced filter at the top of the page. Using it, you can conveniently filter packaging according to neck type, size, colour and material. In this way, you narrow down the selection only to packaging that corresponds to your formulation and to your requirements for design and practical use.
