Plastic bottle with matte black cap represents a practical and aesthetic packaging suitable for various liquid and semi-liquid preparations. Thanks to its design, it is ideal for filling cosmetic formulations as well as more concentrated solutions, where protection of the contents from external influences and convenient dosing is important. The darker coloration of the packaging naturally helps reduce light penetration to more sensitive components and thus supports the stability of formulas during storage.
Bottles of this type are compatible with various types of caps and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, atomizers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and caps created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

If the packaging is made of PET material, it is necessary to ensure that it is not exposed to high temperatures. In case of excessive thermal load there is a risk of deformation, therefore the packaging is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle cleaning at lower temperatures and avoiding direct contact with hot surfaces is recommended.
The packaging can be reused provided you observe basic hygiene principles and appropriate storage conditions. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the cap and then disinfect them, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. After completely drying, you can safely refill the packaging with a suitable formulation.
For cleaning we recommend using lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, then rinsing thoroughly and allowing the packaging to dry naturally. If the bottle is made of PET material, avoid high temperatures and aggressive mechanical cleaning to prevent deformation or scratching of the surface. After washing, you can disinfect the internal space with a suitable alcohol solution and again allow it to dry well.
The packaging is suitable for most liquid and slightly viscous preparations, including oil-based or slightly thicker serums. The suitability of use always also depends on the selected type of cap or dispensing component – for very thick formulations a wider opening or an appropriately chosen applicator may be more practical. Before filling a series, we recommend testing the behaviour of the specific recipe in the selected packaging + cap combination.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local regulations. Follow the material marking given in the product parameters and on the packaging itself. Plastic parts generally belong in the container designated for sorted plastic; any differing components (for example inserts, seals or combined parts) should be separated before disposal. Before recycling, the packaging should be emptied as much as possible and rinsed to remove product residues.
For packaging made of PET material, it is not suitable to expose the bottle to high temperatures, because this may lead to its deformation or change of properties. For this reason, washing in a dishwasher, boiling or sterilisation at high temperatures is not recommended. For maintenance, choose rather gentle manual cleaning at lower temperatures in combination with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant.
