The plastic bottle with dispensing pump represents a practical and safe packaging for liquid cosmetic formulations, which facilitates hygienic dosing during everyday use. Thanks to the plastic material used, the bottle is lightweight, durable and suitable for various types of emulsions, gels or solutions, where controlled application and minimisation of the contact of the contents with air are important. The integrated dispenser helps maintain the consistency of the product, protects against contamination and ensures convenient application in both home and professional production.
This packaging is supplied as a complete combination bottle + dispensing pump, therefore it is suitable for immediate use without the need for additional accessories. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that the result is aligned with the properties of your specific product.

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with proper handling and preservation of the integrity of the pump. However, for repeated filling it is essential to adhere to hygienic principles – first thoroughly clean the bottle and the dispensing part and then disinfect them with a suitable product, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured – plant-based. Only after the internal surfaces are completely dry is the packaging suitable for refilling.
The dispensing pump is designed to handle standard emulsions, lighter creams, gels and liquid skincare products for face and body. For very thick or highly viscous formulations it is advisable to first perform a dosing test to see whether the pump reliably draws in and expels the product. If the resistance of the pump is too high or the dosing is irregular, it is advisable to choose a thinner type of formulation or another type of packaging.
After emptying the contents, we recommend disassembling the bottle and the pump into accessible parts and rinsing them with warm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for cosmetic packaging. Then rinse the components with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After washing, the packaging needs to be disinfected – it is practical to use, for example, IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol 96 %, which evaporate after application. Let the packaging dry completely at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, and only then refill it.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters for this packaging. Before handing it over to separate collection, it is advisable to remove product residues, rinse the packaging and, where possible, separate the plastic bottle from the pump (it contains springs and multiple materials). Adapt the actual sorting to the labelling of the packaging and local waste management rules. Always follow the material pictogram and the recommendations in the parameter table on the product page.
The packaging is suitable for standard cosmetic formulations that may contain an appropriate proportion of alcohol or essential oils. However, for higher concentrations of solvents or very intense aromatic substances we always recommend making a smaller test batch and monitoring the behaviour of the plastic and the pump (colour, elasticity, sealing, any softening). If, after a certain time, no changes appear on the packaging or in the dosing, the combination is usually suitable for longer-term use.
