Plastic bottle with a practical disc-top cap represents a reliable packaging for various types of liquid and slightly viscous preparations. Thanks to precise workmanship and high-quality plastic material, it is suitable for packing cosmetic formulations, professional as well as homemade products. The darker shade of the packaging helps limit light penetration to the more sensitive contents, thereby supporting the stability of formulas during storage.
The packaging is designed to facilitate dosing in everyday use while protecting the contents from contamination. The disc-top cap enables convenient one-movement opening and controlled squeezing of the product directly into the palm or onto the application surface, which will be appreciated by manufacturers of skincare and decorative cosmetics.
The plastic material of the packaging is light, strong and impact-resistant under normal handling, which reduces the risk of breakage during transport or use. The appropriately chosen bottle shape ensures a comfortable grip, clear labelling and easy integration into existing product ranges.
Plastic bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and caps that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure of the long-term stability and safety of your product.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, its proper recycling is recommended in accordance with the material information given in the parameter table by the product. Follow local waste separation rules and assign the bottle to the appropriate collection fraction according to the material marking on the packaging or in the product description.
The bottle with disc-top cap is ideal mainly for liquid to medium-viscosity products, such as toners, facial and body milks, lighter gels or hair preparations. With very thick creams, dosing may be less comfortable, therefore jars or pump systems are rather recommended for such formulations. Before final implementation of the packaging, always test the actual dosing with your specific formula.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are respected. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the cap and then disinfect them, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection we recommend the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol (ALK001) and ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based (ALK002), which you can find as IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol 1 l and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based 1 l. After disinfection, let the packaging dry thoroughly and only then fill it again.
The bottle should be cleaned with lukewarm water with a mild detergent and a soft brush or paintbrush to remove product residues. Then rinse the packaging well with clean water and let it dry completely. Do not use aggressive abrasive agents or hard brushes that could scratch the inner surface. After washing, we recommend disinfecting the packaging with a suitable alcohol and letting it air thoroughly before the next filling.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend first removing any remaining product and, if necessary, rinsing it. Then sort the bottle according to the type of material indicated in the parameter table by the product – according to this marking, place it in the appropriate container for sorted waste according to local rules (for example plastic collection). In this way you support efficient material recycling and reduce the amount of mixed waste.

Thanks to this, you will quickly find bottles, jars or pill bottles that will suit your formula and the visual concept of your product.
