Is it possible to use this bottle repeatedly for different liquid products?

The container can be reused with correct handling and careful treatment, always with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend cleaning the bottle and the spray dispenser and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol (e.g. the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). After thorough drying you can refill the container, and when changing the type of product it is advisable to carry out a sensory cleanliness test as well (no residual odour or colour).

How should the bottle with spray dispenser be cleaned properly before further use?

First rinse the container mechanically with a suitable cleaning agent or with warm water and a mild detergent (according to compatibility with the material and the residual product). Then it is advisable to carry out disinfection using an alcohol solution, and you can also use technical alcohol from the Handymade range – for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Pay attention to the flow through the spray dispenser itself: spray part of the disinfectant solution so that the inner capillary is cleaned. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry thoroughly at room temperature away from direct heat.

For which types of formulations is this spray container most suitable?

The spray container is most suitable for low-viscosity liquids that are to be applied in the form of a fine spray or mist. These are mainly aqueous solutions, hydrolats, toners, light facial and body sprays, perfuming and refreshing blends or cleaning solutions. For thicker or oil-based preparations we always recommend making a trial filling in order to check whether the flow through the nozzle is sufficient and whether the dosing corresponds to the desired effect.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this container if I no longer want to reuse it?

If you decide not to reuse the container, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the information given in the product parameters and on the recycling label directly on the container. First remove as much as possible of the product residues (by rinsing or wiping), then separate the individual parts of the container according to the type of material (bottle body, spray mechanism, possible cap). Then place each part in the appropriate sorted waste according to the local collection and recycling rules.
