The plastic bottle with a disc-top closure represents a practical and lightweight packaging suitable for professional as well as home filling of various liquid preparations. Thanks to its well-thought-out shape and reliable closing system, it provides convenient dispensing and safe carrying of the contents without unnecessary risk of leakage. This packaging is an ideal choice for products where controlled, clean and user-comfortable dispensing is important.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in the qualities available on Handymade, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the disinfection, let the packaging dry at room temperature and only then refill it again.
First rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water, avoiding extremely high temperatures that could damage the material. We then recommend using an alcohol-based disinfectant (e.g. products available on Handymade – isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol) and letting the packaging dry naturally. Pay attention to thorough cleaning of the neck and thread to ensure good sealing when re-used. The packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or boiling, as it could become deformed.
Plastic packaging of this type is not intended for long-term exposure to high temperatures or direct overheating. In contact with hot water, when boiling or when drying near sources of intense heat, the walls of the packaging may soften or deform, which will negatively affect its sealing properties and overall stability. We recommend storing the bottle in a dry place, at room temperature and out of direct sunlight, especially if it contains sensitive cosmetic preparations or aromatic blends.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend its recycling according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over to separate collection, empty the packaging and remove any remaining contents as much as possible. Then dispose of it in the appropriate container for sorted waste according to the material marking (for example plastic). Information on the specific recycling symbol and the recommended method of disposal can be found in the parameter table at the product on Handymade. By correct sorting, you support responsible handling of packaging material.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find in the upper part of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter, you can conveniently choose parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material and thus display only those bottles, jars or pots that meet your requirements. In this way, you can easily filter out compatible packaging also for existing closures and dispensing components that you are already using.
