The plastic bottle with lever sprayer is a universal packaging suitable for professional and home use wherever uniform, fine and repeatable dosing of liquids in the form of a spray is required. The practical shape and lightweight plastic material make it an ideal container for cosmetic preparations, cleaning solutions and other liquid formulations that require precise spraying without unnecessary waste of the contents.
Thanks to the combination of a high-quality plastic body and a functional sprayer, this bottle is suitable for filling various aqueous and hydroalcoholic solutions, toners, hydrolats and products for body care and household care. The packaging is designed to provide comfort during use, minimise leakage of the contents and allow easy repeated pressing of the lever without sticking.
The PET material used for the bottle body is lightweight, clear and allows visual control of the contents, which is practical during manufacturing and use. At the same time, it applies that PET should not be exposed to high temperatures – under excessive heat, the packaging may deform. For this reason, the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling; gentle manual cleaning at appropriate temperatures is recommended.
This bottle is designed as packaging with a spraying system, and when choosing other closures or alternative dosing it is important to follow the specific neck and thread parameters given for the product. In general, packaging of this type is compatible with various dosing solutions according to the selected combinations.
The bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the chosen parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if you follow basic hygiene principles and take into account the suitability of the specific formulation for PET material. Before each new filling, the bottle and the sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcoholic preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. After treatment, let all parts dry completely, and only then refill the packaging.
When cleaning the packaging, we recommend using lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent that is compatible with PET material and any residual contents. Avoid high temperatures, because PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures – when overheated there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. It also applies that the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. After washing, allow the packaging to drain freely and dry at room temperature; rinse the sprayer through and blow it out so that no water or cleaning agent residues remain inside.
The bottle with lever sprayer is most suitable for liquid and low-viscosity formulations that need to be applied as a fine spray. These are mainly facial and body sprays, refreshers, hydrolats, hair waters, light cleaning solutions based on water or alcohol and aromatic room sprays. Thick or highly oily products may not be compatible with the spraying mechanism, so we always recommend carrying out a trial filling and checking the smoothness of dosing.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to local waste-sorting rules, taking into account the material specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over to sorted collection, empty and rinse the bottle as thoroughly as possible so that no product residues remain inside. Then place it in the appropriate collection container according to the type of plastic, bearing in mind that the sprayer may be composed of several materials – if possible, separate the individual parts and sort them according to the recommendations of your waste collection service provider. By proper recycling you support the reuse of raw materials and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
To make selecting packaging easier, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific category (for example bottles, jars or sprayers). In the advanced filter you can clearly choose the neck type, size, colour and material of the packaging, thanks to which you will quickly find a combination that best matches your product and the dosing method. We recommend choosing the packaging also with regard to the consistency and sensitivity of the contents and the required type of application.
Many water–alcohol sprays are compatible with PET packaging, as are low concentrations of essential oils in cosmetic or room sprays. However, compatibility always depends on the specific composition, so we recommend preparing a small test batch that you observe for several days to weeks directly in the packaging. Watch for any changes in the appearance of the plastic, in the colour or scent of the product and in the functionality of the sprayer. For higher concentrations of essential oils or specific solvents, another type of material may be more suitable.
