The transparent plastic bottle with white cap represents a practical and universal packaging material suitable for a wide range of liquid and lightly viscous preparations. The transparent bottle enables good visual control of the contents, which you will appreciate in both home and professional cosmetic production and other mixtures. Thanks to the high‑quality plastic material, the packaging offers stability, low weight and comfortable handling during filling, storage and use.
The packaging is designed to be suitable for carefully prepared formulations – from gentle toners and facial waters to various cleansing or technical solutions. The solid construction of the bottle together with a suitably chosen closure ensures reliable sealing and minimises the risk of unwanted leakage during transport or everyday use.
The plastic bottle is suitable for combining with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the specific use. They are compatible with different types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, atomisers or practical applicators) in line with the parameters selected at purchase. In this way, you can adapt the final packaging precisely to the type of formulation – from fine mist spraying to more precise dropwise dosing or classic pouring.
Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation), so that you can be confident of long‑term stability and safe use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product specifications.
For plastic packaging made of PET material, it is important to take appropriate conditions of use into account. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, at which there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. For this reason, the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning, choose gentle rinsing and disinfection with a suitable alcohol‑based product according to the recommendations in the FAQ section.
The packaging can be reused with appropriate handling and proper storage, but we recommend using it only for formulations that are compatible with the given material. Before each refilling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before use, ideally with alcohol‑based disinfectants such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant‑based. At the same time, it is necessary to observe hygiene principles in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the contents.
Before reuse, always empty the packaging, rinse it with an appropriate amount of water and remove any residues of the original product. We then recommend applying an alcohol‑based disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant‑based ethanol, with which you rinse the inside of the container and wipe the surface if necessary. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, so do not boil the bottle or wash it in a dishwasher, in order to avoid deformation or deterioration of the material properties.
When selecting the correct closure or dispenser, it is crucial to consider the neck type and the intended dosing method. On Handymade, compatible screw caps, atomisers, pumps and applicators that have been practically tested are offered directly with the respective containers. For specific formulations (more viscous emulsions, oils, watery solutions), we recommend choosing a dosing mechanism that corresponds to the viscosity and the desired mode of application, and then performing your own sealing and dosing test with your specific product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted waste according to the material indicated in the product specifications. PET bottles are usually placed in containers designated for plastics. Before recycling, empty the packaging, possibly rinse out any product residues and check the recycling symbol marking on the packaging. The cap and any dispensers may be made of a different type of plastic, so where possible sort them separately in line with local waste management rules.
To make it easier to choose a suitable bottle, vial or jar, you can use the advanced filter on Handymade, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter, it is possible to combine several parameters at once – for example the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, colour and material. In this way, you can quickly display only those containers that correspond to your formulation, design concept and dosing method.
