The transparent plastic bottle with disc-top closure is a practical and versatile packaging solution for liquid and gel products which, thanks to its shape and transparent design, is perfectly suited for clear and hygienic packaging of everyday cosmetic products. The transparent bottle allows for easy visual control of the contents and usage level, while the disc-top closure ensures convenient and controlled dispensing without unnecessary contact with the contents. This type of packaging is particularly popular for products where aesthetics, cleanliness and reliable closure during use as well as storage are important.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly for standard cosmetic formulations, provided that its good technical condition and fully functional closure are maintained. When refilling, it is essential to follow basic hygiene principles – before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product (for example using the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable). After completely drying, the packaging can be refilled again. If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it properly according to the material designation specified in the product parameters.
Before further use, we recommend first rinsing the packaging mechanically with lukewarm water and a mild detergent in order to remove residues of the original product. Then it is advisable to rinse the bottle with clean water and, after draining, to disinfect it with an alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. After disinfection, allow the packaging and the closure to dry thoroughly at room temperature so that condensation does not form inside before the next filling.
The plastic material used and its exact designation (including information on the recycling symbol) can be found in the product parameter table and in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate. According to this designation, the packaging can be placed in the appropriate separate collection stream in accordance with local recycling rules. Before placing it in the collection, we recommend emptying the bottle, rinsing off any product residues and separating the individual parts if they are made of different materials (for example the bottle body and the closure). Such a procedure increases the efficiency of processing in the recycling process and extends the lifetime of material resources.
Disc-top bottles are ideal for liquid and semi-liquid products that are applied in small amounts and are intended to be conveniently dispensed with one hand. In practice, they are used mainly for shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, liquid soaps, body and face lotions, cleansing emulsions, toners or hair lotions. Thanks to the controlled flow of the closure, they are also suitable for preparations where more precise dosing and minimizing contamination around the closure are important.
When choosing a suitable bottle, pharma bottle or jar, we recommend using the advanced filter available at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. Using the advanced filter, you can sort products according to several parameters – for example according to neck type, size, colour or material used. In this way, you can easily narrow down the selection to packaging that best matches your formulation, design and dispensing method, and you can directly select compatible closures or pumps for them.
Before introducing the bottle into regular production, we recommend preparing a trial sample – filling a smaller amount of product and observing the behaviour of the packaging over time. It is necessary to check in particular the sealing of the closure (whether it leaks when turned upside down or during transport), the smoothness of dispensing through the disc-top mechanism and any visual changes of the material in contact with active substances (for example higher alcohol content, essential oils or acids). Such a test enables you to detect incompatibility in time and to adapt either the composition of the product or the selected type of packaging.
