Plastic bottle with aluminium cap represents a universal packaging suitable for filling various liquid and slightly viscous formulations. Thanks to its transparent design, it allows for immediate visual inspection of the contents, which is practical for both cosmetic and technical formulations. The high-quality plastic material together with the metal closure creates a reliable solution for the safe storage of homemade and artisanal products.
The packaging is popular in natural cosmetics manufacturing, where its low weight, resistance to normal handling and easy label application are appreciated. It is also suitable for trial and travel sizes, product samples or small production batches, where both the aesthetics and functionality of the packaging are important.
The individual plastic bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) depending on the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oils and active substances).

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Perform the disinfection on a clean surface, let the packaging dry completely and only then fill it with the final product.
Before recycling, we recommend using up or removing any remaining contents from the bottle, rinsing the packaging and separating the plastic parts from the aluminium cap. Then follow the recycling symbol of the material indicated in the product parameters on the Handymade.sk website and sort the packaging into the appropriate container according to local waste collection rules. The metal closure is usually sorted separately from the plastic. By doing so, you support responsible recycling and minimise the amount of waste.
For plastic bottles made of PET material, it is not suitable to expose the packaging to high temperatures. There is a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its mechanical properties, which may affect the sealing of the closure and the overall stability of the pack. The packaging is not intended for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. We recommend using only lukewarm water and gentle cleaning agents, or possibly disinfecting with a suitable alcohol solution according to the recommendations of the raw material manufacturer.
The bottle is particularly suitable for aqueous and hydro-alcoholic solutions with low to medium viscosity, such as toners, facial and body waters, hydrolats, hair tonics and mild cleaning solutions. In cases of formulations with a higher content of oil phase or alcohol, we recommend first testing the compatibility of the contents with the packaging in a smaller trial batch, monitoring the behaviour of the material and the sealing of the closure over time, and only then moving to full-scale filling.
