The transparent, round plastic bottle with a silver disc top closure is a reliable packaging material intended primarily for filling liquid cosmetic preparations and auxiliary solutions. Thanks to its transparent walls, it allows for easy visual control of the contents and their quantity, which is practical in everyday use as well as during dosing. The disc top closure ensures convenient, controlled dispensing of the product and helps to minimise unwanted spillage or contamination of the contents.
The packaging is made from high-quality plastic material that is lightweight, rigid and resistant to normal handling. It is particularly suitable for liquid products, gels and low-viscosity emulsions that require hygienic and repeatedly reclosable packaging. The design of the bottle in combination with the disc top closure supports clean application without unnecessary product waste.
This bottle is supplied in combination with a practical disc top closure, which allows for convenient, more precise and relatively economical dosing of the contents. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – in particular of sealing, dosing method and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (pH, alcohol content, level of oils or active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle with a silver disc top closure is ideal primarily for liquid and medium-viscosity preparations such as toners, micellar waters, liquid soaps or lighter emulsions. Thicker gels and creams can be used if they have a sufficiently fluid consistency to be dispensed comfortably through the opening of the closure. For a new formulation, we always recommend first testing the behaviour of the product in the packaging and the convenience of dosing on a smaller trial sample.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed, for example in home cosmetics production or when refilling the same type of product. However, before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, we recommend using an appropriate alcohol-based preparation, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you will find in our range as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly and only then refill it.
We recommend first cleaning the bottle mechanically with warm water and a mild detergent and rinsing it thoroughly. Then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol solution (for example with products available on the Handymade website), which you spread evenly over the inner surface or leave to act briefly. After disinfection, rinse the packaging once more with clean alcohol or allow it to dry completely in a clean, dust-protected place. Do not use very hot water, do not boil the packaging and do not wash it in a dishwasher in order to avoid possible deformation of the plastic.
If you decide not to use the bottle any further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters on the Handymade website. Before handing it over for separate collection, it is advisable to empty the packaging, wipe off any product residues and, if necessary, rinse it quickly so that cosmetic residues do not enter the container. Then place the bottle in the collection bin intended for that type of plastic according to local waste separation rules. The closure is often made from a different type of plastic than the bottle itself, so if recommended by the local collection system, you can sort it separately. Always follow the material designation in the parameter table and the recommendations of your collection system.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which is located in the upper part of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category (for example bottles, jars, pots). In the advanced filter, products can be clearly sorted according to several parameters, such as neck type and size, overall packaging size, colour or material. This allows you to quickly narrow down the offer only to packaging that meets your formulation, dosing method and design requirements. We also recommend comparing several options and, for the final decision, testing the selected packaging with your specific product.
