FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

The container can be reused with appropriate handling and if undamaged, always with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle must be cleaned, thoroughly rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Let the disinfectant solution act briefly, then allow the container to dry thoroughly at room temperature.

How should I clean this plastic bottle and what should I pay attention to with PET material?

For cleaning, we recommend using lukewarm water and a mild detergent, without abrasive particles and aggressive solvents. Since this is a container made of PET material, it is not suitable to expose it to high temperatures – with excessive heating there is a risk of deformation of the container. Therefore do not boil the bottle, do not put it in a dishwasher and do not expose it to direct contact with hot steam or a radiant heat source. After washing, allow the container to air-dry with the neck downwards, and only then, if necessary, disinfect it with the recommended alcohol-based product.

If you decide not to reuse the container, it is advisable to recycle it responsibly according to the material specified in the product parameters. First, empty the bottle, rinse out any remaining contents if necessary and remove labels if possible. According to the material marking (for example plastic type PET), then dispose of it in the appropriate separate collection for plastics. Sort closures and any dispensers according to the material indicated for the specific product. In this way you support the recycling of raw materials and reduce the amount of waste.
