Plastic bottle with matte dispenser represents a practical, professional-looking packaging suitable for a wide range of cosmetic and hygiene preparations. The transparent container body allows good visual control of the contents, while the dispenser ensures comfortable, controlled and hygienic application of the product without unnecessary waste. This type of packaging is popular in home and artisan cosmetic production, where reliable material, clean design and easy use are important.
This product represents a ready-made combination of bottle and dispenser that is prepared for immediate use. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging works reliably with your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. We recommend studying them before use and aligning them with the requirements of your specific formulation and method of use.
If the bottle is made of PET material, it is necessary to take into account the properties of this plastic: PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures at which there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. Such packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. Therefore, when cleaning and preparing for refilling, use gentle procedures and appropriate disinfectants.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with appropriate handling and adherence to hygiene principles. However, before each new filling it is essential to thoroughly clean and disinfect both the bottle and the dispenser. For disinfection we recommend using alcohol-based preparations, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in technical purity, available in the Handymade range: IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. If the packaging is made of PET material, exposure to high temperatures, washing in a dishwasher or boiling is not recommended, as it may become deformed.
Before first use we recommend mechanically cleaning the packaging from any dust, then rinsing it with a suitable medium (for example boiled and cooled water or distilled water, depending on the nature of the product) and then disinfecting it with an alcohol-based preparation. In practice it has proved effective to fill part of the bottle volume with alcohol, shake thoroughly, leave to act and pour out the contents. Allow the remaining alcohol to evaporate at room temperature. For PET packaging do not use hot water or thermal shocks, in order to prevent deformation of the material and any impact on the dispenser’s sealing properties.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the type of material given in the product parameters. The plastic body of the bottle is usually sorted into the container intended for plastics; before disposal it is advisable to remove any remaining contents and, where possible, separate the individual parts (bottle, pump). The exact method of recycling may differ depending on local waste collection rules, so also follow the instructions of your waste collection company. The pump dispenser is designed for comfortable dosing of standard cosmetic emulsions and gels with medium viscosity. For very thick formulations (for example butter creams or balms with a high wax content), dosing can be more difficult. Therefore, before series filling we recommend doing a trial filling and testing whether the dispenser reliably draws in and dispenses your specific product without clogging, excessive resistance when pressing, or leakage at the joints.
