FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this bottle suitable for thicker emulsions or oils?

The spray dispenser is optimized primarily for liquid and low-viscosity preparations, such as aqueous solutions, hydrolats, light toners or alcoholic sprays. With thicker emulsions or purely oil-based blends, spraying performance may deteriorate or the nozzle may become clogged, therefore for such formulations we recommend conducting a test and, if necessary, choosing a different type of dosing (for example a pump or another suitable applicator).

Can I use this bottle repeatedly for different products?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly wash and clean the bottle and all parts of the spray dispenser and then disinfect them with a suitable product, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and of transferring fragrance or residues of the previous product into the new contents.

How should I fill the bottle correctly so that the spray dispenser works reliably?

When filling, we recommend using a funnel or a dosing container in order to avoid contaminating the thread and the inside of the spray dispenser. Do not fill the bottle completely to the brim – leave sufficient space for the nozzle and dip tube so that optimal conditions are created for drawing up the liquid. After screwing on the spray dispenser, we recommend pressing several times until the system is filled and begins to dose evenly. If you are working with a formulation containing essential oils or alcohol, always perform a test dose and observe the behaviour of the packaging after several days of storage.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material indicated in the product parameters. Before handing it over for separate collection, remove any remaining contents and, if necessary, rinse the bottle to minimize contamination of the sorted waste. The container body itself and the mechanical part of the spray dispenser may be made from different plastic materials, so it is advisable to follow the recycling symbols and recommendations given for the specific product. By following these principles, you will support efficient processing and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
