The transparent plastic bottle with cap is a practical and lightweight container suitable for packaging various liquid and slightly viscous preparations. The transparent material enables visual control of the contents, which you will appreciate when dosing, checking the colour or monitoring the remaining amount of product. Thanks to its stable shape and durable plastic, the bottle is ideal for homemade formulations, small product batches as well as professional use in cosmetics and aromatherapy.
The container is designed to be practical for handling, filling, storage and transport. In combination with a suitable closure or dispensing system, it provides a reliable seal and helps protect the contents from contamination or unwanted leakage. The plastic material reduces the risk of breakage compared to glass, which makes the bottle suitable also for travelling or for cosmetic and sample sets.
This transparent plastic bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected in the online shop. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – check the sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation (pH, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).

Yes, the container can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and undamaged. When refilling, it is essential to follow basic hygiene principles – before each new filling, rinse the bottle thoroughly, clean it and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in our range as products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow the container to dry thoroughly at room temperature. Since it is PET material, do not expose the container to high temperatures, do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher to avoid deformation.
First, empty the bottle and rinse it with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent that is compatible with your formulation. Then rinse several times thoroughly with clean water to remove all residues of the cleaner. After mechanical cleaning, we recommend disinfecting the internal surface of the container with an alcohol‑based preparation (e.g. IPA or ethanol suitable for disinfection) and allowing it to dry completely. Do not expose the PET material to high temperatures – do not boil the bottle, do not put it in a microwave oven or dishwasher in order to prevent its deformation or reduction of stability.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it after emptying and basic rinsing according to local waste‑sorting rules. Since it is PET material, the container is intended to be sorted with plastics – most often into the yellow container or the collection bin intended for plastic waste. Before disposing of it, remove any product residues and labels and compress the container as much as possible so that it occupies less space. If there are specific rules for sorting packaging plastics in your municipality or city, follow the local instructions of the waste collection company.
When filling cosmetic products, it is important that the formulations have an appropriate temperature – always fill only after cooling to room temperature to avoid thermal stress on the PET plastic. Check the compatibility of the ingredients (pH, alcohol content, type of solvent) with the plastic container and carry out a trial batch, which you will observe for several days to weeks. Check whether the material deforms, becomes cloudy, changes colour or whether any seepage occurs. Also remember to test the functionality of the selected closure or dispenser – sealing, dosing and air backflow.
