Plastic bottle with a practical disc-top closure provides a reliable container for various types of liquid and gel-based preparations. Thanks to precise manufacturing and high-quality material, it is suitable for filling cosmetic products, hygiene preparations and cleaning blends where convenient dosing and clean handling are important. The transparent design allows for visual inspection of the contents, so you can easily see the colour, clarity and remaining amount of product.
The packaging is designed to withstand everyday use, frequent pressing of the closure and repeated opening and closing. The disc-top system supports controlled dispensing, which makes the bottle suitable for products where accuracy and hygienic application are essential – whether in professional manufacturing or in smaller handmade batches.
The standalone bottle with disc-top closure is a practical choice for many liquid and gel formulations, while at the same time being compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the selected parameters. Depending on the specific neck finish, it can be combined with screw caps, dropper inserts, spray heads or other practical applicators that you can find in the packaging materials category.
Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for products containing alcohol, essential oils or other active substances.

Yes, the container can be reused with appropriate handling, but we recommend observing strict hygiene rules. Before each refilling, the bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured of plant origin. Only after the packaging has completely dried can it be refilled with product.
We recommend cleaning the bottle by hand with lukewarm water and a mild detergent in order to avoid damaging the surface. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, so do not wash the container in a dishwasher and do not boil it – excessive heating may lead to deformation of the walls or changes in the shape of the neck, which will negatively affect the seal of the closure. After washing, allow the bottle to dry naturally and disinfect it with the recommended alcohol preparation before using it again.
When filling, make sure that the product has an appropriate temperature – with hot fills the PET container may deform. It is recommended to fill only completely cooled formulations and to keep a sample for longer-term monitoring of compatibility. For products with a higher content of alcohol, essential oils or strongly active substances, always perform a stability test and check that the material does not change colour, shape or strength and that the tightness of the closure remains unchanged.
If you decide not to reuse the container, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. Before disposal, empty the bottle, ideally rinse out any residues of the contents and then discard it into the container designated for plastic waste according to local recycling rules. Separate sorting of the packaging helps its efficient recovery in the recycling process and reduces the amount of municipal waste.

The compact shape and low weight of the PET bottle also make it suitable for use as a travel container. Before transporting, make sure that the closure is tightly screwed on and do not overfill the bottle so that there is space for expansion of the contents in case of changes in temperature or pressure. When travelling by air, always observe the restrictions on the amount of liquids in hand luggage and, for safety, place the container in a resealable bag that will protect the remaining contents of your backpack or suitcase.
