The plastic pharmaceutical bottle is a practical and lightweight container suitable for professional and home packaging of various liquid and powdered preparations. Thanks to the durable plastic material, the bottle is stable, easy to handle and ideal for precise dosing of smaller amounts of product. The compact shape makes storage, transport and integration into finished product ranges easier.
The packaging is designed to reliably protect the contents from external influences when an appropriate closure is selected. The smooth surface allows for easy labelling with stickers and professional branding, which makes it a universal bottle for the artisan, small-scale production and laboratory sectors.
This standalone bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the parameters selected in the offer. You can combine it, for example, with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators for precise dosing of smaller volumes.
Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content, oil or water base).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The container can, with proper handling and if the surface or thread is not damaged, be used repeatedly, always in compliance with strict hygiene rules. Before each refilling, the bottle must be carefully cleaned, its visual condition checked (cracks, deformations, damaged threads) and then disinfected with a suitable product. For disinfection, we recommend using, for example, IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, in line with recommendations for working with alcohols. After disinfection, let the container dry thoroughly and only then refill it.
Before first filling, we recommend visually checking the packaging and removing all dust and mechanical impurities. Then you can rinse the inside and surface of the container with a suitable medium according to the type of formulation (for example, for cosmetic solutions with clean water or with the base with which the packaging is compatible) and then disinfect the bottle with an alcohol-based product, for example using the product IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After treatment, let the pharmaceutical bottle dry completely at room temperature, without direct heat radiation, to avoid possible deformation of the material.
If you decide not to use the container any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations given in the product parameters on the Handymade.sk website. As a first step, always empty the contents and rinse the bottle as thoroughly as possible to minimise product residues. Then sort the packaging into the appropriate collection container according to the material type indicated in the parameter table (for example, into the container designated for plastic waste). In this way you reduce the amount of municipal waste and support the reprocessing of raw materials.
The packaging is designed as a universal bottle for common types of formulations, but it is always necessary to take into account the specific composition of your product. We recommend performing a small compatibility test – fill a smaller volume of product and observe the behaviour of the material over a certain period (changes in colour, softening, swelling or leakage). With higher concentrations of alcohol or various solvents, it is particularly important to verify the long-term stability of the container and closure, so that the functionality of the thread and sealing is ensured throughout the entire period of product use.
To make it easier to select a suitable container, you can use the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category (for example bottles, pharmaceutical bottles, jars). In the advanced filter, products can be sorted according to several parameters – specifically by type of neck, required size, colour and material. By combining these filters, you quickly narrow down the range to those containers that best match your formulation, method of dosing and planned product design.
