Plastic bottle – pill bottle is a universal container suitable for packing various liquid and powder formulations where practical handling, easy doseability and reliable protection of the contents are important. Thanks to the selected type of plastic and its shape, the bottle is stable, lightweight and suitable for both professional and hobby use in cosmetics, pharmaceutical preparations and auxiliaries for home production of products.
This type of packaging is designed to allow comfortable filling, storage and use in practice. In combination with a suitable closure or dispenser, it provides safe and functional packaging for products where cleanliness, precise dosing and protection against contamination or accidental leakage of the contents are important.
The standalone bottle – pill bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected at purchase. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The container can be used repeatedly provided that basic hygiene principles are observed and the material is suitable for the given formulation. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and unwanted influence on the stability of the product.
Before repeated use, we recommend first thoroughly rinsing the interior and outer surface with a suitable cleaning agent, then rinsing with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. After drying, it is advisable to treat the inner space and critical areas (neck, thread) with disinfectant alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps reduce the risk of introducing microorganisms into the new product.
The plastic container is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures or to be boiled. With prolonged exposure to elevated temperature, deformation of the shape, deterioration of sealing or changes in the properties of the material itself may occur. For these reasons, washing in a dishwasher and sterilisation by boiling are not recommended. For cleaning and disinfection, it is more appropriate to use controlled mechanical cleaning and alcohol-based disinfectant preparations intended for working with packaging.
If you decide not to use the container any more, it is advisable first to empty it completely and remove any product residues. The subsequent method of recycling depends on the type of plastic given in the product parameters and on the recycling symbol on the packaging. According to this information, place the empty bottle in the appropriate separate waste stream according to local rules (for example into the container for plastics). In this way you support material recycling and reduce the amount of waste landfilled.
For easier selection, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. Using the filter, you can clearly narrow down the products according to parameters such as neck type, container size, colour or material used. By combining these criteria, you will quickly find bottles, jars or pill bottles that best match your specific product and the desired dosing method.
