Plastic bottle – pill bottle with cream dispenser represents a practical and hygienic packaging for creamy, gel and semi-liquid formulations. Thanks to the integrated dispenser, it allows precise and controlled dispensing of the contents without unnecessary contact with air and hands, which helps maintain the stability and cleanliness of the product. This type of packaging is suitable for artisan and semi-professional cosmetic production, where reliable pump operation and convenient dosing in everyday use are important.
This product represents a combination of packaging and dosing system in one, with the dispenser adapted to the given bottle. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products with a higher content of active substances or atypical viscosity.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before the first filling, we recommend disassembling the packaging into the accessible parts, mechanically cleaning it from dust and manufacturing residues, and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol solution. For disinfection, it is ideal to use isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in our range as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After applying the alcohol, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature and only then fill the bottle with the final product.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the dosing mechanism and to disinfect them, in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and to prevent unwanted mixing of residues of the original product with the new formulation. For disinfection, we recommend using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. When using repeatedly, we also recommend regularly checking the condition of the plastic parts and the functionality of the pump visually.
With thicker creams, it is important to fill the bottle slowly and without air bubbles, in order to minimize the formation of empty spaces that may affect the suction of the pump. It is recommended to use creams with a uniform, homogeneous texture without large undissolved particles. After filling, it is advisable to perform several test presses until the system is completely vented. If you work with very thick formulations, test the compatibility of dosing on a small trial batch before the final filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material indicated in the parameter table for the product. Before discarding, empty the bottle as much as possible and remove any remaining contents. Then divide the packaging into the individual parts (body, pump, any cap) and sort each part into the collection container corresponding to the given material in accordance with local recycling rules. In this way, you will support the reuse of raw materials and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
The fastest way to choose suitable packaging is to use the extended filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category, the filter is located at the top of the page and allows convenient sorting according to several parameters. You can filter by type of neck, required size, colour and material of the packaging. By combining these criteria, you can quickly narrow down the range to the packaging that best suits your product and the planned method of dosing.
