Plastic bottle – pharmaceutical dropper bottle with white spray pump represents a practical packaging for liquid products that require fine and even atomisation. Thanks to the reliable spray mechanism, it enables precise dosing without unnecessary product waste and comfortable use both at home and while travelling. This universal packaging is suitable for smaller and larger production batches, test samples, as well as finished products intended for the end customer.
The combination of a plastic bottle and a functional spray pump ensures clean and hygienic application without direct contact with the contents. The spray cap helps minimise the risk of contamination and reduces the contact of air with the product, which supports the stability and longer usability of properly designed formulations.
This bottle with spray pump is supplied as a complete combination of packaging and functional dispensing component, ready for immediate use. Combinations of packs and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can also be used repeatedly if correct hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly washing the bottle and the spray pump, rinsing them and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcoholic preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Only after the packaging and the internal parts of the spray pump are completely dry is it appropriate to refill the container.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinsing well with clean water and allowing it to dry. It is then appropriate to disinfect the inside of the packaging as well as the dip tube and the spray head with an alcohol solution (for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol) and, after a short contact time, allow it to air out and dry. The same procedure should be followed for repeated use in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new product.
The spray pump is optimised for low-viscosity to moderately liquid formulations that can be easily drawn through a thin tube and dispersed into a fine mist. Aqueous solutions, hydrolats, light serums, water–alcohol disinfectant blends or thin oil or emulsion formulations are ideal. With thicker products, the comfort of dosing may be reduced or the system may become clogged, therefore we recommend always testing the behaviour of the specific recipe on a small amount.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend first removing any product residues after emptying and, according to the type of material specified in the product parameters and on the recycling symbol on the packaging, sorting it into the appropriate separated waste stream. In practice, this means separating the plastic bottle from the spray pump, removing any self-adhesive labels and placing the individual parts into the container intended for the relevant type of plastic in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. This maximises the chance that the material will be effectively recycled and reused.
The easiest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the selected category, an option for detailed filtering appears at the top of the page, where you can very precisely choose the required neck type, packaging size, colour and material. Thanks to the combination of these parameters, you can quickly find bottles, pharmaceutical dropper bottles, jars or spray pumps that will meet the requirements of your product as well as the design of your entire product line.
