Plastic medicine bottle with white cap represents a practical and reliable packaging for various liquid and powdered preparations where easy handling and secure closure are important. Thanks to the durable plastic material, it is suitable for everyday use in cosmetic, household and craft formulations, while facilitating both dosing and storage of products. The voluminous bottle is ideal for larger packs, refill reservoirs and economical product packs.
The standalone plastic bottle is compatible with various types of caps and dosing methods according to the parameters selected for the product. It can be combined with screw caps, dropper inserts, spray heads or practical applicators, allowing you to adapt the dosing to the specific type of product.
The packaging–cap combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
For plastic material of the PET type, it must be taken into account that it is not suitable to expose the packaging to high temperatures. With long-term or intense exposure to heat, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging, and therefore the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle manual cleaning at lower temperatures and special disinfection before repeated use are recommended.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed and the compatibility of the specific product with the plastic material is taken into account. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and disinfect it, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example with the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and increases the safety of use. It is also true that PET plastic material should not be exposed to high temperatures, so do not wash the packaging in a dishwasher and do not boil it, in order to prevent its deformation.
Before repeated filling we recommend first rinsing the packaging with lukewarm water and a mild detergent and then rinsing thoroughly with clean water. Afterwards it is appropriate to disinfect the inner surface and any cap with an alcoholic solution – for example by using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% ethanol of vegetable origin. After treatment, allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature. Since this is PET-type plastic packaging, avoid high temperatures, do not use a dishwasher and do not boil the packaging, so that it is not damaged or deformed.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it into sorted collection according to the type of plastic stated in the product parameters (e.g. PET). Before handing it over for recycling, empty the bottle as much as possible, optionally rinse out any remaining contents and remove external contamination. Then place the packaging into the appropriate container for plastic waste according to local sorting rules. In this way, the material can be used again in the recycling process and the amount of waste generated during the production of cosmetics or household products is reduced.
The bottle is a universal packaging for various liquid and slightly viscous preparations that require a reliable and firm closure. In practice it is used mainly for cosmetic solutions, hair and body care products, cleaning and auxiliary solutions for the household, workshop or craft production, as well as for concentrates and working solutions of raw materials. We always recommend verifying the compatibility of the specific formulation with the plastic material and performing a trial filling before serial production.
When choosing packaging, it is important to take into account the composition of the product – in particular the proportion of alcohols, solvents, surfactants or essential oils. We recommend filling a small test amount of the product into the packaging and observing over several days to weeks any changes in the material (softening, clouding, deformations), or changes in odour, colour or viscosity. If no undesirable phenomena appear and the sealing of the cap is reliable, the packaging is generally suitable for the given formulation. In the case of more aggressive formulations, it is advisable also to consider alternative packaging materials.
For quickly finding suitable packaging you can use the advanced filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. With the help of the filter you can sort products according to several parameters – in particular according to neck type, overall size, colour and packaging material. This way you can easily choose a small bottle, medicine bottle, jar or other container that matches your formulation, desired volume and the design of the final product.
