Plastic bottle – pill bottle with white cap represents a practical and reliable packaging for liquid and powdery preparations, where cleanliness, protection of the contents and convenient handling are important. Closing with a screw cap ensures safe storage of products and minimizes the risk of unwanted leakage or contamination. Thanks to the construction of the pill bottle, it is suitable for precise dosing, easy filling and comfortable use in home cosmetics, artisan production and small-scale professional production.
The standalone plastic pill bottle with cap is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options available in the range according to the selected parameters of the specific neck. With a suitable choice, the bottle can be combined with screw caps, dropper inserts, dispensing caps, sprayers or practical applicators, which allows you to adapt the use to the given product type. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
If you plan to use more intensely perfumed, oily or specific active blends, it is advisable to also test the longer-term stability of the material in contact with the contents and to verify whether the chosen closure provides comfort during repeated opening and closing.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. There you will also find details on the specific type of plastic, the recommended way of use and any particularities in contact with different types of fillings.
The plastic packaging is not intended for filling with hot or very warm contents. It is recommended to fill only cooled or room-temperature products. Exposure to high temperatures can lead to softening and deformation of the packaging, affect the tightness of the closure and shorten the lifetime of the bottle. For this reason, the packaging is not suitable for boiling or washing in a dishwasher, and gentle hand cleaning without the use of very hot water is recommended.
The packaging can be used repeatedly, provided that you follow basic hygiene rules and the packaging is not mechanically damaged or significantly worn. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alkohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/){target="_blank"} or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/){target="_blank"}. When changing to another product type (for example from an oil to an aqueous solution), we recommend paying special attention to cleaning and disinfection in order not to affect the fragrance or stability of the new filling.
For routine cleaning, thorough rinsing with lukewarm water and a mild, well-soluble detergent is sufficient, taking care to remove all residues of the original product. After rinsing with clean water, allow the bottle and cap to dry completely. We then recommend disinfecting the packaging with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant and again allowing it to dry. The packaging should not be cleaned in a dishwasher or exposed to very hot water, in order to avoid deformation or weakening of the material.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, its recycling is recommended according to the type of plastic given in the product parameters and the recycling symbol on the packaging. Before handing it over for recycling, it is advisable to empty the bottle and, if necessary, rinse out any significant product residues. The packaging is then sorted into the collection container intended for the given type of plastic, according to local waste-sorting rules. The cap and any inserts should ideally be taken apart and also sorted according to material. By following these steps, you will support the reuse of raw materials and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material category. After clicking on the relevant category, a filtering option appears at the top of the page, where you can select packaging according to the neck type, size, colour and material. In this way, you will quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that meets your technical requirements and design preferences. When choosing, we also recommend considering the method of dosing and the type of closure so that the resulting set is as practical as possible for the specific product.
