Plastic bottle – pharmaceutical bottle with black closure is a practical and safe packaging intended mainly for filling various cosmetic, hygiene and technical formulations. Thanks to the suitably chosen material and shape, the bottle is ideal for liquid and slightly viscous products that require reliable dispensing and protection against external influences. This type of pharmaceutical bottle is popular for the production of smaller product series, test samples and finished products prepared for sale.
The packaging can be reused provided its technical condition and cleanliness are maintained, but always only if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly washed, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, we recommend the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after thorough drying is the packaging ready for refilling.
First rinse the bottle with the remnants of the original contents and wash it with lukewarm water and a mild detergent suitable for cosmetic packaging. Then rinse the packaging thoroughly with clean water so that no residues of the cleaning agent remain. After washing, we recommend disinfecting the inner and outer surfaces – for this purpose you can use isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. After disinfection, leave the packaging to dry completely at room temperature upside down on a clean surface. Only then is it suitable for refilling.
The plastic material of the packaging is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. When the recommended temperature range is exceeded, deformation of the bottle, deterioration of sealing or changes in mechanical properties may occur. The packaging is therefore not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning, always use only lukewarm water, a mild cleaning agent and subsequent disinfection with alcohol according to the recommendations of the raw material manufacturer and the nature of your products.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters and on the packaging itself (recycling mark). Before placing it in sorted waste, remove any remaining contents, rinse the packaging and leave it dry if you wish. Then place it in the appropriate collection container according to local waste-sorting rules. In this way you minimise environmental burden and ensure that the material can be reused in the recycling process.
When filling, always take into account the composition and viscosity of your formulation. Thicker or highly oily products may require a wider opening or a specific type of applicator so that dispensing is comfortable. For products containing alcohol, essential oils or active substances, we recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking whether the packaging material does not deform over time, change colour, soften or crack. It is advisable to fill a smaller test quantity, leave it to stand for a certain time and then assess the condition of the packaging and the functionality of the chosen closure or dispenser.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category, the filter is located in the upper part of the page and allows you to sort the offer in detail according to several parameters. Specifically, you can filter by type of neck, required size, colour and material of the packaging. Thanks to this, you will quickly find a bottle, jar, pharmaceutical bottle or another container that best matches the character of your product, your preferred design and the method of dispensing.
