Plastic bottle – pill bottle with cream dispenser is a practical packaging intended for precise and hygienic dispensing of creamy, gel-based and emulsion preparations. Thanks to its functional dispensing mechanism, it helps protect the contents from contamination, limits contact with air and reduces the risk of degradation of sensitive formulations. This packaging is suitable for homemade formulations as well as professional products, where comfortable, clean and repeatable dispensing without unnecessary waste is important.
This type of plastic bottle is designed to be compatible with a specific dispensing mechanism, which ensures comfortable and hygienic extrusion of creamy formulations. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
The technical and material properties of this plastic packaging are designed to support long-term and reliable use in cosmetic formulations. When working with plastic, it is appropriate to monitor the behaviour of the specific formulation over time – especially for preparations with a higher content of alcohol, essential oils or active substances that may affect the elasticity and surface of the plastic. With repeated use of the packaging, it is important to maintain proper hygiene and avoid exposure to excessive temperatures, which could compromise the shape or tightness of the dispensing system.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused with proper handling, but we recommend reserving it for the same type of product (for example always cream or always gel). Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with an appropriate alcohol-based disinfectant, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps minimize microbiological risk and extends the safe usability of the prepared product.
First, it is advisable to take the packaging apart into individual parts that can be safely separated (bottle body, dispenser, possible cap). Remove residues of the previous product mechanically and using warm water with a mild non-foaming cleaning agent. After rinsing, allow all parts to dry completely and only then apply disinfection with high-percentage alcohol. It is advisable to disinfect the dispensing mechanism by drawing a small amount of alcohol into it and pressing several times so that it passes through the internal channels. After disinfection, allow the alcohol to evaporate at room temperature.
We recommend that one particular pill bottle be reserved long-term for one type of product or at least for a similar category (for example always face creams or always body gels). Even with thorough cleaning, a slight odour or residues of the previous formulation may remain in the plastic material and in the dispensing mechanism. When switching to another product, it is essential to clean the packaging thoroughly, dry it and disinfect it with an alcohol-based product (for example IPA or ethanol from our range) and subsequently test it on a small trial batch to check whether the scent, colour or consistency of the new contents changes.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is advisable first to empty it completely and remove any product residues. Then follow the information about the material given in the product parameters directly on the website – based on this you will assign the packaging to the appropriate separate collection (for example to the container for plastics). Before throwing it into sorted waste, it is advisable to at least roughly rinse the packaging to minimize cosmetic residues. The dispenser and the bottle body may be made of different plastic components, so it is good to separate them if possible. Always follow the local waste sorting rules in your municipality or city.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, pill bottles or jars), you will find advanced filtering options at the top of the page, where you can select the packaging according to neck type, size, colour and material. By combining these parameters, you will quickly narrow down the selection to packaging that suits your product and the planned dosing.
