Product description

Plastic bottle – pill bottle with cream dispenser is a practical packaging intended for precise and hygienic dispensing of creamy, gel-based and emulsion preparations. Thanks to its functional dispensing mechanism, it helps protect the contents from contamination, limits contact with air and reduces the risk of degradation of sensitive formulations. This packaging is suitable for homemade formulations as well as professional products, where comfortable, clean and repeatable dispensing without unnecessary waste is important.

Possible uses

  • creamy face and body care products – day, night, regenerating and protective creams
  • gel-based products – face and eye gels, spot treatments, SOS skincare
  • emulsions and fluids – light hydrating emulsions, serums with creamy texture, BB and CC products
  • treatment products for hands and feet – balms, nourishing creams, special treatments
  • products for sensitive areas – after-sun creams, soothing formulations, dermocosmetics
  • professional and salon products – testers, travel sizes, samples and smaller product batches

Advantages of the packaging

  • Stable plastic material – resistant to normal handling, impact and pressure during dispensing, suitable for long-term use with proper handling.
  • Protection of more sensitive formulations – the dispenser minimizes the contact of the contents with the external environment, thereby helping to limit contact with impurities and airborne dust.
  • Hygienic dispensing – the cream or gel is not taken out with fingers from an open jar, but directly from the dispenser, which reduces the risk of microbiological contamination.
  • Precise quantity control – the mechanism allows relatively uniform doses with each press, which is practical for both professional and home use.
  • Versatile use – suitable for a wide range of emulsion and gel cosmetic preparations for the face, body and scalp.
  • Low weight and shatter-resistance – compared to glass, the plastic pill bottle is lighter and less prone to breakage, which is ideal for travelling as well as for everyday carrying in a handbag or cosmetic bag.

Combining with caps and dispensers

This type of plastic bottle is designed to be compatible with a specific dispensing mechanism, which ensures comfortable and hygienic extrusion of creamy formulations. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Technical parameters

The technical and material properties of this plastic packaging are designed to support long-term and reliable use in cosmetic formulations. When working with plastic, it is appropriate to monitor the behaviour of the specific formulation over time – especially for preparations with a higher content of alcohol, essential oils or active substances that may affect the elasticity and surface of the plastic. With repeated use of the packaging, it is important to maintain proper hygiene and avoid exposure to excessive temperatures, which could compromise the shape or tightness of the dispensing system.

All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Is this plastic pill bottle suitable for repeated use?

Yes, the packaging can be reused with proper handling, but we recommend reserving it for the same type of product (for example always cream or always gel). Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with an appropriate alcohol-based disinfectant, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps minimize microbiological risk and extends the safe usability of the prepared product.

How should the dispenser and the inside of the packaging be properly cleaned before reuse?

First, it is advisable to take the packaging apart into individual parts that can be safely separated (bottle body, dispenser, possible cap). Remove residues of the previous product mechanically and using warm water with a mild non-foaming cleaning agent. After rinsing, allow all parts to dry completely and only then apply disinfection with high-percentage alcohol. It is advisable to disinfect the dispensing mechanism by drawing a small amount of alcohol into it and pressing several times so that it passes through the internal channels. After disinfection, allow the alcohol to evaporate at room temperature.

Is it possible to use this bottle consecutively for different types of products?

We recommend that one particular pill bottle be reserved long-term for one type of product or at least for a similar category (for example always face creams or always body gels). Even with thorough cleaning, a slight odour or residues of the previous formulation may remain in the plastic material and in the dispensing mechanism. When switching to another product, it is essential to clean the packaging thoroughly, dry it and disinfect it with an alcohol-based product (for example IPA or ethanol from our range) and subsequently test it on a small trial batch to check whether the scent, colour or consistency of the new contents changes.

How to safely dispose of and recycle the plastic packaging if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is advisable first to empty it completely and remove any product residues. Then follow the information about the material given in the product parameters directly on the website – based on this you will assign the packaging to the appropriate separate collection (for example to the container for plastics). Before throwing it into sorted waste, it is advisable to at least roughly rinse the packaging to minimize cosmetic residues. The dispenser and the bottle body may be made of different plastic components, so it is good to separate them if possible. Always follow the local waste sorting rules in your municipality or city.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, pill bottles or jars), you will find advanced filtering options at the top of the page, where you can select the packaging according to neck type, size, colour and material. By combining these parameters, you will quickly narrow down the selection to packaging that suits your product and the planned dosing.
