The plastic medicine bottle is a universal container suitable for packing various liquid and powder preparations where protection of the contents and convenient dosing are important. Thanks to the durable plastic material, this bottle is a practical solution for home as well as professional use, for example in cosmetics, household chemicals or technical formulations. The brown version also helps reduce light penetration to more sensitive components, which supports the stability of the stored product during storage.
The standalone plastic bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the parameters selected directly on the product page. You can combine it with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, which makes it possible to adapt the final packaging to the specific use and consistency of the preparation. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
For PET-type plastic material, it must be taken into account that the container should not be exposed to high temperatures in order to avoid the risk of deformation. The container is therefore not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling; gentle manual cleaning at appropriate temperatures is recommended.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The container can, with appropriate handling, be used repeatedly, provided strict hygiene is maintained between individual fillings. Before each new use, the bottle and the closure must be carefully cleaned and then disinfected, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and increases the safety of the final product. It is also important to monitor the overall condition of the plastic; in case of visible wear or damage, it is better to replace the container.
Before refilling, we recommend first thoroughly rinsing the container with warm (not boiling) water and a suitable cleaning agent, removing all residues of the original contents. Then rinse the bottle with clean water and, after drying, disinfect it by gentle spraying or rinsing with IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant-based ethanol. Do not expose PET material to high temperatures – the container is not intended for boiling or for cleaning in a dishwasher, in order to avoid deformation and deterioration of sealing performance.
For quickly finding a suitable container, there is an advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category (for example bottles, jars or medicine bottles). Using the filter, you can set the required parameters in detail, such as the neck type, size, colour or material of the packaging. As a result, only products that match your requirements are displayed, making it easier to choose the optimal combination of bottle and closure for the specific formulation.
For a plastic container made of PET material, it is important to avoid filling preparations at excessively high temperatures, because the material is not intended for long-term contact with hot media. High temperatures can lead to deformation of the container, impaired sealing of the closure and, in extreme cases, damage to the bottle. It is recommended to fill only when the product has reached an appropriate, safe temperature that you perceive as tolerable when holding the container in your hands. This protects not only the packaging itself but also the stability and quality of the contents.
If you decide not to continue using the container repeatedly, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters for this bottle. After emptying the container, remove any product residues and, if necessary, rinse it so that no formulation residues remain in the vessel. Then separate the bottle from the closure (if it is made of a different material) and place it in the appropriate sorted waste according to local collection rules. By recycling, you support reuse of the plastic and reduce the amount of municipal waste, always following the recycling symbol indicated in the parameter table for the product.
