Yes, the container can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially within your own production or when refilling the same type of product. However, before each new filling it is important to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection we recommend using alcohol‑based products, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based, and the container must be allowed to dry completely after application.

If you decide not to reuse the container, we recommend first emptying it as much as possible and, if possible, rinsing out any remaining contents. Then check the information about the material type in the parameter table on the product page and the recycling symbol on the container itself. According to the material designation, place the bottle in the appropriate plastic‑waste container. The closure is often made of a different type of plastic than the bottle body – if possible, separate it and sort it according to local separation rules. In this way you will support efficient processing of plastic waste.

The bottle is designed to be compatible with several types of closures assigned in the Handymade range. When in contact with hot water, during boiling or when washed in a dishwasher, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its mechanical properties, which may affect the sealing and functionality of the closure. For cleaning, we therefore recommend using lukewarm water, a mild cleaning agent and subsequent disinfection with a suitable alcohol‑based product, followed by thorough drying.
