Is this bottle suitable for repeated use?

Yes, this packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the spray pump and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the disinfectant has completely dried is the packaging ready to be refilled.

How should I properly clean and disinfect this packaging before the next use?

Before refilling, we recommend first mechanically rinsing the packaging with a suitable cleaning agent and clean water to remove residues of the original product. It is then important to disinfect the inner walls of the bottle and the dosing mechanism with an alcohol solution, for example using the preparations IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After rinsing with the disinfectant, let the packaging dry naturally at room temperature and only then fill it again.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle the packaging at the end of its life?

If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend primarily recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. Before handing it over to sorted collection, remove any remaining contents and empty the packaging as much as possible. The spray pump is ideal for liquid preparations that are applied in a thin layer or as a fine mist – for example facial and body waters, hydrolats, hair tonics, room sprays or products for textiles. For thicker emulsions or gel formulations, the spray mechanism may not be optimal, so during formulation development we recommend making a trial filling and verifying whether the dispenser provides an even and smooth dispersion.
