FAQ – Most frequent questions

Is this bottle suitable for repeated use?

Yes, this packaging can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the dispenser and then disinfect them, ideally using highly concentrated alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection is key to minimizing microbial load and maintaining the safety of your products.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the packaging between individual fillings?

First we recommend rinsing the bottle and dispenser with a suitable cleaning agent and lukewarm water to remove residues of the original product. Then let the packaging drain thoroughly and dry. The final step should be disinfection of the inner and outer surfaces with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After the alcohol has evaporated, you can fill the packaging again hygienically.

Can I wash this plastic medicine bottle in a dishwasher or boil it?

The plastic material of this bottle is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures, therefore washing in a dishwasher or boiling is not recommended. Long-term exposure to hot water or hot steam can lead to deformation of the packaging and deterioration of the dispenser’s functionality. For maintenance and hygiene, it is more suitable to combine gentle hand washing with lukewarm water and subsequent disinfection with alcohol.

By following the recommended method of sorting, you will support effective recycling of the used packaging material.

This bottle is ideal especially for low-viscosity to medium-viscosity liquid preparations that need to be dosed in smaller amounts – typically facial waters, tonics, hair tonics, special solutions and light emulsions.
